hey! i’m sure you’ve seen the US elections! just an fyi: (not targeted)
please don’t spread uninformed information! politics, candidates, and parties are multifaceted, and generalizations can cause a lot of misinformation. we should all be very aware that our channels are run primarily by non-voting minors, and that as non-voting minors, are fairly uneducated when it comes to all policies relating to a candidate. whichever side you supported or didn’t this presidential election, state elections matter to. with the trend of powers, especially social ones like abortion, devolving to the states, you should check in on your local elections, as well as legislative ones. no matter what a presidential candidate claims, they only have as much influence as their legislations give them. budget, laws, most of what you deem as the ‘most important’, is out of their direct control. i’m not telling everyone to just deal with it and be happy, but politics go so much deeper than just a single vote. also, i recommend that instead of trying to educate non-americans/ uninformed people’s yourselves, it’s better to promote personal research from multiple sources, due to the heavy bias of media.
you don’t have to listen to me, but all around, open-mindedness and education on the state of politics is extremely important. the ever polarized parties is not a goal, and has greatly inhibited the function of government and funding equity. i wish everyone the best
