Micro Service Course

Hi guys,

I am currently working on the Spring Boot micro service course coming out next. This course is be designed to take you from one level, say a mid level developer, to a senior level developer.

The competency level of the course will be super advanced. Please take the competency level very seriously. Only advanced topics, designs, and implementations will be covered, so before taking the course, make sure you some level of have experience with the technologies being used.

I will be using Angular 17+ and React with Nextjs for the front end. I will release the course with one front end technology, and then later the other one, since it will take time to build two front ends with React and Nextjs and Angular 17+ respectively.

I will send another communiqué listing all the technologies the course will use in both the back end and the front end for both libraries/frameworks.

Happy coding!!

Thank you - A message from Junior to you

Hi guys,

Happy New Year!!

A lot of students have asked me about my advanced course on Spring Boot and Angular. This course is still on a discount for all my students from all platforms. I will always keep the discount for any students who have taken my courses in the past. This is also true for all future courses.

My next course is on Spring Security 6 and React with Redux (Redux Toolkit). It's fairly advanced, and it will be on a discount for all my current students.

This is my way of thanking every single one of you for taking any of my courses on any platform and supporting me.

My website has currently 15 courses listed, almost all of them are free. Please take these courses. Watch them in your free time. They will help immensely in advancing your career, and you can join the Discord to ask me all your questions.

Almost all these courses are also free on YouTube, so you can watch them there as well. Just remember to like and subscribe to help the channel grow.

I will keep making content and help as many people as I can to become software engineer. One day, I will share my story, and tell you all how hard it was for me when I started, because nobody was teaching the advanced topics and complete complex projects that can set you apart to get a job.

That's why I decided to teach intermediate and advanced topics, mostly. The market has become very competitive over the past few years, and knowing only the basics is not enough.

Thank you again for a great 2023. You guys will love these courses I'm releasing in 2024. A lot of React and Angular 17 are on the way.

Have a great 2024 and happy coding!!

Hi guys, the next course I'm releasing will be about Spring Security 6. The course will cover the following and more:

Back End

Spring Boot 3,
Spring Security 6,
JPA

Front End

ReactJS,
Redux (with RTK Queries and Store)

Some of the functionalities implemented in the course project include:

Logout
Password reset
Role base access control
User Profile update
User Settings update
JWT (Access Token and Refresh Token as secure HttpOnly Cookies)
Automatic token refresh
Multi-factor authentication (MFA with QR Code from mobile phone application like Google Authenticator)

And much more.

Most of my course projects have used Angular in the front end. This is my first major ReactJS course with Spring Boot. I’m just about finished building the project for the course, if there is anything you would like me to include in the course project, please let me know what you would like to see in the course project.

PSA: Keep in mind that this will be a standalone application and not a micro service. The fact that we are building a custom implementation of Spring Security to secure the API means that we are not in a micro service architecture. The micro service course will come after, so in your feedback, know that this will not be a micro service architecture.

I'm revamping the Spring Security course because Spring Security had a major update. This time around, in addition to covering all the details, I will teach you how to use a QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc) for Multi-Factor Authentication.
This is what the profile page will look like. If you would prefer to have to send a text message to the Multi-Factor Authentication, this was implemented in the advanced Spring Boot with Angular course.

This course is not very long. It will be the next course to be released.

Started working working on the ticket support system UI. I went with a CSS grid system.

What to expect in this course in the back-end:

Spring Data JPA (Advanced Mappings) - No JDBC
Spring Security (Access token, refresh token)
Role and Authorization based Access Control
Two-Factor Authentication (Using QR code)
Data Cache
And more...
