I'm starting this channel for several reasons: Accountability, motivation, community and fun. I started cycling in 2011 at 350 pounds. After losing 160 pounds, I was able to keep it off for several years. Back then I was riding over 7,000 miles a year. These past few years I've barely made it over 3,000 miles per year and this year has been only several hundred. As such I've put on about 30 pounds and I want to lose them, so I'm creating this channel so that I'm accountable to anyone who wants to view my videos to produce one video per week documenting my bike miles, run miles, and weight loss. I'll also be sharing tips on bike maintenance, where to buy great kit and bike parts at a reasonable price, and answering any questions anyone has about losing weight and staying motivated.
