Anchored in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania since 2010, EdPowerment provides transformative educational opportunities that enable young people and community members to pursue purpose-filled and secure lives.
Today EdPowerment continues to graduate and mentor students in higher-level education through our capstone holistic Sponsorship Program. Over 40 young people have already graduated from universities and colleges, changing their communities in a very real and positive way.
In 2021 EdPowerment shifted its commitment to educationally underserved young people from the former Kilimahewa Educational Center/KIWOCE to more remote villages in the Siha District, providing a variety of life-changing interventions and instruction, working with government secondary schools and community administrators. Our newest endeavor, the Educational Empowerment (EdPowerment) Incubation Center, launched in 2024, now serves secondary school graduates in a practical, vocationally-oriented way.
