For Our Day podcast change!
We have been incredibly grateful for the positive response to our For Our Day Book of Mormon podcast this year! Each âthank youâ means the world to usâas if it were the firstâbecause each of you has a unique story and is individually important to the Lord. Your comments inspire and encourage us, and we cannot express how grateful we are to be part of this project!
For the past six months, we have been releasing weekly podcasts following the Come Follow Me schedule for 2024. While we will continue producing a podcast until we have finished the Book of Mormon, we will not maintain the same pace as the Come Follow Me schedule for the rest of the year.
We fully intended to push through and maintain the same pace through the end of the year, but over the past few weeksâwith a lot of prayerâwe have felt the Lord gently counseling us to not overburden our health and family. We are not stopping the podcast! Only slowing down a little on release dates.
The Joseph Smith Foundation and all associated projects are a labor of love for our family (the James Stoddard children) and our beloved friends, all of whom volunteer their time and make many sacrifices to make this material available to you. Each family works in secular careers to pay the billsâadding this as a labor of love in the time they can spare. I want to give special thanks to my sister, Leah, who stepped in last year and cheerfully took on many extra burdens without a single hint of complaint to help produce the For Our Day podcasts, freeing up my schedule to write, record, and video editâbecause she felt such a deep love for all of you and a burning testimony to spread the Book of Mormon message.
I have always felt it important to remember that the most significant work is not on the stage but within the walls of your own homeâand I have seen countless blessings from prioritizing this in the past.
This decision was hard! And made after many hours of prayer and discussionâbecause we all feel passionately about the importance and critical nature of the Book of Mormonâperhaps now more than ever before.
We are committed to this project. Please keep us in your prayers that we will be inspired and strengthened as we continue producing podcasts. We are still prioritizing it heavily until we have finished producing podcasts on the entire Book of Mormonâ52+ episodes/lessons.
We are simply going to slow down our pace a littleâreleasing episodes as soon as we can produce them. However, we do plan to have new content out each weekâso keep an eye out for another podcast in just a few days!
We already have the next three lessons filmed, along with some extra bonus content, and a plethora of research ready for filming the succeeding Book of Mormon chapters. We think you are going to love the new episodes!
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. We truly love each of you and, once again, have been overwhelmed by the positive response to the Book of Mormon parallels project. If you want to help us, please share these podcasts and pray about what you can do personally to flood the earth with the Book of Mormon message. Every voice counts!
I want to reiterate my testimony that the Book of Mormon is truly the sign and tool to gather Israelâthat the Lord has promised incredible blessings if we take it seriously in our day.
We have so much hopeâand so many untapped answers! We only need to believe and actâto witness the windows of heaven open!
God bless and keep each of you,
Hannah Stoddard

This week's podcast will be released tomorrow! In both the Book of Mormon and in our day, Church peace and order is threatened as the rising generation struggles to understand and embrace the faith of their parents. Among the Nephite church, false ideologies rejecting the fall, resurrection, and atonement led to moral sin and apostasy. During the 20th century, we see parallel apostasy creep in among the posterity of the faithful pioneersâas secularism and progressive beliefs threaten to undermine faith. College universities have become a battleground for the hearts and souls of the children. Learn the fascinating story of the controversial firing of three BYU professors in 1910 by President Joseph F. Smith and Mormonâs counsel to save the youth of the Church today.

We've hit an exciting milestone in this series! We're beginning the portion of Mormon's actual abridgment in the Book of Mormon. Are you ready? Let's start by coming to know this incredible prophet, historian, and king!
Mormon is one of the greatest prophets, kings, and historians to live in the history of our earth. An inspirational hero from his youth, he was trusted with the hidden location of the Nephite record at only 10 years old, was visited by Jesus Christ at 15, and that same year was given command over the entire Nephite army.
Mormon's lineage and name reveal he had a sacred bloodline mission to restore lost Israel from the grave. Will we humbly turn our hearts to this birthright brother and hear his message of hope for his broken brothers and sisters today?
How do we unite the Stick of Joseph/Ephraim with the stick of Judah so the "great army" of Israel can resurrect, as seen by Ezekiel?
How do we make the Book of Mormon message relevant for other tribes, especially Judah?
Why was Mormon commissioned to write the Book of Mormon the way that he did?
What was the Josephite lineage, and why were they set apart to save Israel from captivity?
All of this and more in this podcast!

We're releasing Part 1 for Lesson 15 (Jacob 7) a few days early since Part 2 on Constantine and the creeds will be released on Wednesday (April 3), when our weekly episode is usually published! Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwy_p...
In Nephite history there were many antichrists who came among the people and taught their false philosophies. All of these men were cunning, possessing great power of language and charisma. The teachings of Sheremâand later a similar ideology among the Zoramitesâcan be compared to the false creeds of apostate Christianity that negatively influenced the early colonists of America as well as the 19th-century Christians at the time of Joseph Smith. These beliefs continue to cause confusion and incite contention today. Learn about the roots of sign-seeking, gifts of the spirit, the true nature of the Godhead, the Plan of Salvation, and the confusion introduced by the Athanasian and Nicene Creeds!

Official YouTube Channel for the Joseph Smith Foundation. The Joseph Smith Foundation is an organization focused on supporting and contributing to projects founded in the words of Jesus Christ. Our motto is "Vision in Light of the Restoration". Joseph Smith advanced a literal interpretation of scripture and confirmation of the truths taught in the Bible. He taught that a restoration of the doctrine and Church established and led by Jesus Christ was necessary in the latter days as it was in the former ages of the earth. Revelation was the rock foundation of all lasting accomplishments.
