ALERT : @GoldenSound has been doing research into using class D power amps as headphone amplifiers. Ex. when I hook up things to the Fosi V3 amps through the speaker terminals. Seems that if the impedance of the headphone is high enough, frequencies above 30000Hz can reach the stratosphere, which may cause several issues. Our own ears cannot usually hear above 20khz, but it may stress parts of both the headphone and our ears not used to receiving that sort of power and frequency bump. So be conscious of this warning and if you experience any "weirdness" discontinued immediately.
Soon I will be reviewing an impedance adapter Goldplanar sells which will correct this issue but its pricetag negates the benefit of cheap Class D for powering hard to drive monsters. www.linsoul.com/products/goldplanar-gfi1200p-ic/?s…
