I know I'm not around much these days, life is very different for me now. A different job means I have a lot less time to relax and be creative at home in my small workshop. Often when I actually have time I'm too tired. I now work 5 days a week now, sometimes 6 - I'm also single now so have to run the house and care for one of my daughter's pretty much alone which isn't a really bad thing but it all takes up some of my time.
I seriously do miss the community and sharing my work - I feel like I made some good friends in the maker community even if only online. Sadly, it feels now like those friendships have faded but just to let you know, I'm still around, doing reasonably well so if anyone wants to get in touch, old friends or new, feel free, be nice to catch up and have a chat.

I have another YouTube channel covering my small scale modelling hobby. I plan to bring that channel over to here and include it on my Steve Maker channel. The fact is, I can't be arsed to manage both channels but still would like to share what I do.
I know it is very different to my usual type of content here but, making is making right?
Don't worry though, I still plan to include wood work, metal work and so on in my videos. I know some of you may not like it and that's ok....I just like a bit of variety in my life. Thanks for reading and let me know what you think 👍👍

Having been inspired by many YouTube makers I decided to start making and creating myself. To share with you I made this channel, I don't stick to one type of thing, I like to try many different things, it keeps me entertained and I hope you enjoy it too!
