Today I've chosen to translate the theme song of the 1994 movie "Song of the Siren".
The reason; the story takes place in the 1991 Gulf War, as Iraq attacks Israel with ballistic missiles.
We're now at the point of waiting for our neighbors to attack Tel Aviv yet again.

Dan Toren, the talented songwriter, actor and singer has passed away yesterday, 29th of May 2024 at the age of 63.
He passed away in the Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, where he was being treated for cancer.
Notably, his lyrics were insightful, witty and intelligent.

I believe reaching 1000 subscribers is the absolute minimum for a channel to be no longer considered a hobby/experiment.
Until then, I'm happy (not exhilarated 😉) that the channel has reached 779 subscribers.

1. Why do you upload songs with audio only? (i.e. no music video)
Mostly, these songs have no music videos. I mostly use what's already available.
Rarely, I do improve music videos by inserting better audio.
Perhaps in the future, I'll actually create music videos by joining video segments from live performances.
2. Your choice of songs seems odd- why don't you feature artist XYZ? Do you dislike them?
I try to pick what I like and is not already available elsewhere.
If you don't approve of my choices- you are more than welcome to start your own channel.
3. Is there anything that people should know about this channel?
Yes, please pay attention to the playlists- they also include songs from other channels, so you won't see these additional songs by going through the videos tab.
Also please notice that the playlists are built around specific topics. This is meant to help people who are unfamiliar with this music and want to quickly review songs by a specific topic.
4. Is there any peculiar thing that you can see in the channel's statistics?
I can think of two:
- There's one person who is auto-translating the English subtitles back into Hebrew. Hilarious.
- There's one person who is listening to "Human Tapestry" almost every day in a loop for hours.
For example, yesterday Feb 11th 2023- this person listened to the song for 41 times, 2:58 hours.
