Hello everyone,

Today, I bring to your attention a distressing incident involving Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel, who was brutally attacked during a Bible study at Christ the Good Shepherd Church in Sydney. The assailant confirmed to be a young Muslim individual, inflicted harm not just physically but also to the peace of the community gathered in prayer.

This incident serves as a poignant reminder of the words of Jesus, "If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, I chose you out of the world. Therefore the world hates you" (John 15:18-19). This reminds us of the courage and strength to pick up our cross daily and follow Christ.

Let us come together to offer our prayers for Bishop Emmanuel and all our sisters and brothers in Christ suffering around the globe. Their resilience and steadfastness in the face of adversity are a testament to the strength of their faith.

Thank you for standing in unity and prayer.

Happy Palm Sunday! 🌿

Today, we commemorate a profound and fulfilling moment as we remember Christ's triumphant yet humble entry into Jerusalem. Fulfilling ancient prophecies, Jesus chose not the grandeur of a chariot or the might of a horse but the simplicity of a donkey for His journey.

As we reflect on this significant event, let's ask ourselves how to embody the humility Jesus demonstrated throughout His ministry. This Palm Sunday, I encourage each of you to pray for a heart like Hisβ€”a heart filled with humility, ready to serve and to walk in humbleness.βœ¨πŸ•ŠοΈ

Hey guys! For those looking to enhance your understanding of Christian apologetics, I've got something special for you today. Let's dive into 'How (Not) to Read the Bible' by Dan Kimball. This book is a game-changer for anyone grappling with those tough, eyebrow-raising passages in Scripture. Here are three compelling reasons why you should definitely consider picking up this book: amzn.to/3Sc5HLd

1.Clarifying Difficult Passages: Dive into the challenging parts of the Bible that discuss violence, slavery, and anti-scientific claims. Kimball doesn’t just brush over them; he offers clear, insightful explanations that put these verses into their historical and cultural context. It's an eye-opener for understanding Scripture more deeply.

2. Combating Misinterpretations: This book is an invaluable tool in today's world, where the Bible is often quoted out of context. It arms you with the knowledge to challenge and correct common misconceptions and misinterpretations. Essential for anyone committed to intelligently defending their faith against common criticisms.

3. Bridging Ancient and Modern Worlds: Kimball masterfully connects the ancient words of the Bible with our contemporary life. He guides readers to see how those controversial passages were relevant in their time and what they can teach us now. This book is necessary for those seeking to read the Bible with a more informed and nuanced understanding.

So, if you're ready to tackle the Bible's tough questions with confidence and clarity, 'How (Not) to Read the Bible' is a must-have in your reading list: amzn.to/3Sc5HLd
