Call me a juice filled fruit snack, because I'm gonna gush all over this movie Monday. If you're looking for a family movie for the whole family this weekend, this is a sure bet.

"How terrible is Rings of Power?" you might ask. So terribly dull, that it's difficult to find any footage that is acceptable as B Roll.
One of my daughters thinks video editing looks cool, so I'm paying her for rough cuts and now we're moving into b-roll covering. I showed her where all the RoP footage is, and told her to find interesting clips to cover one of the video sections.
When I asked my wife how it was going, here is the response. Apparently, the actual quote is "I can't find anything that looks exciting".
THAT is how terribly trite and uninspired this show is. Set aside the lore stuff and Tolkien's tone and vision. The show is simply bland. It doesn't even make for good viewing without sound.
The editing is going well, she has a real knack for it! And my other daughter (who designed my logo) is finally ready to make thumbnails. She's going for a movie poster style, and two recent videos have already adopted it. I'm loving the new look, and they are miles better than the garbage I was throwing together.
It's happening! I'm outsourcing!

I keep it crump on the weekends, because I'm a cool person and I do cool things.
A while ago, a chubby Irishman on Instagram, named Garron, recommended Barry's. Because I always take food and drink recommendations from heavy folks seriously, I ordered a box of Gold immediately. DAMN. It's so smooth.
BUT THEN I saw they had other flavors, and my family had some disagreements about milk in tea, so we decided to make Saturday night exciting and test them out. The results are as follows:
Gold deserves its name it's the best, when black. The flavor is so smooth and mild, you don't need milk. In fact, milk hurts the flavor.
Irish Breakfast is delicious and strong, a bit too much so, but it becomes perfect with milk. It won the milk category.
The master blend is also delightful, but someone had to be third place, and the other two were simply too good.
Also, crumpets are fan-damn-tastic.

Lately, it is just so hard to be a Sony fan. I keep my PS1 in my video set. I've had it since '96. Playstation, I want to love you, but you are making it extremely difficult lately!

Star Wars Outlaws is crap, and the skill of Pattern Recognition remains undefeated.
I made a video on April 26th about how terrible this game looked, even before any gameplay was revealed. That was actually my main gripe was that they had the nerve to announce a tiered pricing system for a game with no details.
One of the upcharges was "early access" and console players who paid EXTRA to play this game early were rewarded with a buggy mess, and the ensuing patch caused them to RESTART the entire game they got early access to. They were 'compensated' with credits to the Ubisoft store, lol.
Then we get clips like this one, showing enemy AI that would have been brutally mocked literally 20 years ago. Also, why are there sea oats indoors?
Through the life of my original video, there have been some angry comments about how I'm a grifter who hates everything and how can I know the game is trash when no details are even out yet. The usual empty defenses of a bad product made by bootlickers who don't seem to mind their money being stolen. I won't be waiting for anyone to print retractions.

It's upon us again. Rings of Power season 1 was so awful and boring, it actually got me interested in digging into The Silmarillion to find out what the previous ages were supposed to be like. I'm listening to the Andy Serkis version, he is great.
I did stop for the time being, because I think the reviews of season 2 will be more fun if I'm not angry at the lore discrepancy. However, after having only read the first two chapters, Ainulindalë and Valaquenta, I did write down this hilarious description of Melkor:
"[Aulë created and shared knowledge] whereas Melkor spent his spirit in envy and hate. Until at last, he could make nothing, saving mockery of the thought of others, and all their works he destroyed if he could."
He wants attention and power and hates everything that isn't his own creation.
Before postmodernism, deconstruction, and subversion were popular, Tolkien already knew these kinds of people. There really is nothing new under the sun.
