A collection of Scripture songs from various Bible translations. Great for memorizing individual verses or even entire passages from the Bible! The earlier tunes were created by myself, while the more recent songs were generated with Suno, an AI program.
The term "Lollardy" refers to an early pre-Reformation movement in England started by John Wycliffe in the 1300's. The believers of this movement were nicknamed "Lollards", apparently because they memorized so much Scripture that they were often heard muttering ("la la la" = lollard) Bible passages to themselves as they went about their day. They stood in stark contrast to the Roman Catholic Church around them, which prohibited ordinary people from reading, much less memorizing, the Bible.
