If you’ve noticed it’s been a little quiet here lately, don’t worry — I haven’t disappeared into the wilderness. I was away last week on a family vacation and this week at a work conference. Honestly just taking a little rest but don’t you worry though; I’ve just been hard at work on some big projects for you all!
Right now, I’m putting the finishing touches on two episodes of the Realistic Hunts series, crafting a Top 10 Rarest Animals in Call of the Wild video, and working on a true crime-style Call of the Wild episode based on in-game missions — and trust me, you won’t want to miss it.

In Episode 1, you watched JBizHunts drop his first diamond elk and invest in a humble trophy cabin in the heart of Layton Lakes. But that was just the beginning…
Here’s what’s coming in the rest of Season 1:
🔹 Episode 2: The Moose Hunt
A once-in-a-lifetime tag. A mysterious encounter with a spirit animal. A decision that could change everything.
🔹 Episode 3: Blacktail Legacy
A bow hunt with meaning — finishing the hunt his grandfather started, and maybe receiving a gift from the forest itself.
🔹 Episode 4: The Bear Finale
A tense close to the season — black bears, a rugged stalk, and an unexpected call from overseas that hints at what’s to come in Season 2…
🦴 All big game trophies will be max level or rares only – no filler in the trophy cabin!

After Season 1 wraps, I’ll take a short break to work on some new guides and how-to videos, then head to Hirschfelden to scout and film Season 2.

🦌🎥 Big Announcement! | A New Kind of Hunt is Coming…
Hey fellow hunters — I’m working on something a little different… and I’m really excited about it.
I’m creating a passion project that blends the immersive world of The Hunter: Call of the Wild with the storytelling and realism of a true hunting documentary. Think MeatEater, but in Layton Lakes.
This won’t be just another trophy grind or Great One guide — it’s a full-on realistic Roosevelt Elk hunt, with:
➡️ A storyline involving the local warden/outfitter
➡️ Collaboration with “Washington Fish & Wildlife” using realistic bag limits and regs
➡️ Cinematic gameplay, narration, and an ethical, single-tag hunt
➡️ All leading toward completing the Layton Trophy Cabin over time
It’ll be grounded in realism, character-driven, and filmed like an actual hunting show. If the video does well, I may turn it into a series — but for now, this is one epic, story-rich hunt that I’ve poured my heart into.
