We want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who showed us their support at Crufts 2024 – whether you signed up to the Walkies Challenge, visited our stall, let us take photos of your lovely dogs or even helped raise awareness at home through social media.
A special thank you to those of you we met who shared your cancer experience with us - our four-legged friends can be a huge support when you or a loved one is experiencing cancer, and this shone through this weekend 🧡

“Being told at the age of 24 that you probably won’t see 30 – that’s a moment you never forget.”
Jamie’s judo career was cut short at the age of 24 when he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. Sadly, he died two years later, at the age of 26.
Jamie’s story was shared during last night’s episode of Don’t Look Down on Channel 4.

In 2011, Emily was diagnosed with skin cancer aged 17 after discovering a mole on her calf. In 2013, further scans would show that the cancer had returned and spread to Emily’s lymph nodes, and later to her lungs, liver and brain.
After being told that the tumours in her brain were no longer treatable in 2018, Emily proposed to her partner, Aisha, and the pair were married the following month.
Emily died in June 2018, aged 24. In a message to Emily’s YouTube subscribers, who she had shared her journey with, Aisha said, “It was very peaceful, she just opened her eyes looked at me, I told her how much I loved her and how proud I was of her.”
Emily’s story was shown during yesterday evening’s episode of #DontLookDownC4 on @Channel4. We #StandUpToCancer with Emily’s family 🧡

“Accepting the skin you’re in is really hard when you’re going through cancer, because you don’t feel like it’s you. I lost a lot of my identity, and I do struggle still looking in the mirror, because I don’t see me.” We brought together a young woman with cancer and photographer Alex Cameron for a body confidence photo shoot. Watch the heartwarming video to see what Georgie makes of the shoot and her final image.
Now is the time to Stand Up To Cancer 🧡
