Hi everyone! It's a busy time at work as we have a big fundraising event coming up, so I didn't get to record any videos that I usually plan in advance. I'm hoping to get at least one video out next week, but as that's the week of my event, I'm not quite sure yet. But if not, I will definitely have more the week after.

Hi everyone! I know a lot of you are wondering where I've been and I'm so sorry for being MIA. Let me just say that everything and everyone is FINE. The fur babies are doing great right now! I did hurt my knee extremely randomly (carrying a plate of food??? lol) and I was out for a bit, but other than that, everything has been fine.
I just have had zero - completely zero motivation to record. So I recorded some stuff, but I also have had no motivation to edit these videos. I have no idea why. Well I do know why, when you have less money to do the fun stuff like savings challenges and cash stuffing, it made me not want to do any recording at all. I apologize for that. That's just what most people want to watch and I feel blah not being able to do that.
I know I've said this channel is for me and my memories and all that, but I still want to record stuff YOU all want to see as well.
I have an unboxing that has been recorded, that I MUST get out - like weeks ago, so I will be getting that out soon. And I'll try and at least finish the stuff I have already recorded and go from there.
I may even have a savings challenge video coming up if I can push myself to do it.
ALSO - I did not forget about the winners of my giveaway. Since there's so many, that will take time. I know I mentioned that in that video, but it's already been awhile. Just letting you know that it's still happening. Postage is expensive, so I have to do that one slowly and in batches. So please bear with me, you'll get them hopefully before Christmas lol.

Hello and happy Wednesday! Thank you for being here!
Due to not being able to post too many savings challenges and cash stuffing videos, I wanted to see what other things you'd like to see on my channel. I do a random vlog here and there (I'm wayyy behind on editing the last one from a couple months ago). Maybe something I used to record, but haven't done in awhile, etc. I know I used to do all kinds of things, but I'd like to see what YOU all would like. Please help me out here!

I want to thank everyone for all of your kind words and support. I will do an update video at some point, but I'm just drained right now and well, I can't really do any other videos either (savings challenges), until I get this stuff all squared away.
BUT you have all blown me away and all the kind messages, touching emails and those of you who donated to Ollie really brought me to tears every time something came in. Through all the apps out there, I got a total over $1000 and that covers almost half of Ollie's bill (all combined), so thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart.
With funds that have come into my account, I have put $350.90 back to my card. I have attached a photo here. Sorry if it gets cut off, YT likes it to be perfectly square. There was another fee of $51 or so that I paid out of my bank account when the 2nd E-Vet forgot one of Ollie's prescriptions - the most important one! So I just paid that as I didn't want to put that smaller amount on the CC. The nice thing is that this will lessen the interest since I did it before the statement ended.
I am happy to say that Ollie is doing MUCH better. Every day he has gotten better and stronger and right now I'd say he's at 80%. He's not eating to his full amount, but he's eating and he's not vomiting. He's sleeping with me, he's drinking water and his eyes are bright again.
So thank you again, your prayers and nice messages helped not only me get through this, but also Ollie. Thank you to both my daughters for their help in all of this as well.
I don't know when I'll have a regular video again, but I'll at least do an update video - I recorded some happy mail before Ollie's incident, so I'll merge them together whenever I get the update video recorded. It will be debt related. I want to make sure all these donations go directly to my CC for Ollie's vet bills once they call come in, before I can do any savings challenges or cash stuffings.

Now this is nothing compared to what Maui is going through right now, so for anyone else thinking of donating to Ollie, PLEASE send it to Maui instead. I'm behind the times as I don't watch the news, but of course I don't live in a bubble either - I just found out later than most. I will be taking a small part of my $100 donation challenge that is meant for donating to a humane society here and donate it to the Maui Humane Society. So many animals both domestic and wild have lost their homes and their lives. I am helping however I can in my small way, like you all helped me.

I hate asking for these kinds of things, and well, I never have before so I guess there's a first for everything. These past few days have been rough, so if you are NOT struggling and want to help, then please read on. I'm the type who never asks for help. I'm strong headed and feel I can take it all on my own, but this has kind of hurt.
I was actually going to make a video on this, but decided against this because I didn't want it to be filled with me crying, because I know that was going to happen. After my big debt video and having this plan and all that, things since then haven't gone as expected. I felt like I was letting everyone and myself down, but life happens right?
On Tuesday, Ollie threw up, went to eat/drink and then threw all that up. That went on for 24 hours every 2 hours or so. He completely stopped eating and didn't feel comfortable drinking, because it seems after he'd take a drink, he'd threw up. The ONLY thing he was able to eat is the Churu packs that I use to give him medicine. But again, it would all just come up in the end.
One Wednesday, I took him to the Emergency Vet because this was the one day my vet wasn't available. They did everything - full on blood work, xrays, etc. This first visit cost me $2000. I was floored and you had to pay FIRST. They didn't really tell me where to go from here except he'd need more xrays due to a possible blockage to see if that had moved, and then an Endoscopy which I was quoted $3,000. I wanted to cry.
So I kept an eye on him, tried to give him food - they did give him anti-nausea medicine so he no longer threw up, but it was only to last 24 hours. Followed him around when he drank water as I wanted to see if he'd use the litter box as I kept missing it. I worked from home the next couple days. Thank goodness my job is flexible!
By Thursday I wasn't seeing any changes, so I called my vet and unfortunately for what the emergency vet said, they aren't equipped for any of that so they recommended I go back, plus she was super swamped which I understood, but was also disappointed. I tried calling other vets to see if they had full on hospital stuff.. One that I called, omg I couldn't help it, I started crying. I felt so hopeless. She was so nice and while they couldn't do anything she recommend me to a different emergency vet hospital as it might be a little cheaper.
I was so happy with this place. It was a little cheaper cost by cost and they were all so nice and gave me information that was helpful. The vet wasn't impressed with the xrays, didn't think Ollie would need an endoscopy and because Ollie is so feisty (they ended up putting a cone on him to protect themselves!), he thinks it might just take some time. He prescribed an appetite stimulant (you put it on the inside of his ears while wearing gloves - so strange), and said his kidneys looked good and his blood levels while they are sporadic, doesn't warrant having to move to insulin.
But I still had to keep an eye on him and he said he is at least eating the churu, so that's still a good sign even if he's not eating anything else. But hopefully with the stimulant and try some other foods in combination, we'll see what happens. If he still doesn't improve then I need to bring him back.
Well today, I got Ollie to eat a TINY tiny bit of food. I was sooo happy, but still not enough. I mean it was really tiny, but he did it and I was so proud. He's still just hanging out in my bathroom, but he did go on my bed once and he did use the litter box. Baby steps.
I was a complete wreck these last few days and I had to call my daughter to let her know "just in case". I didn't know what was going to happen with Ollie. The main thing is that he doesn't suffer. She was glad I told her and bless her heart, she created a gofundme. I decided against posting this link.

Thank you all so much! I have posted a copy of what that first e-vet bill looks like. Oh and the second e-vet, cost me $400. Granted they didn't have to do all the major stuff like the first one, but even the new consult exam was still $15 cheaper than the first one.

Sadly, trying to upload videos that are in the gigs in size over a hotspot is impossible and I was silly to attempt it. But hey, at least I tried!
So, I will have to wait and cross my fingers that my fiber will be fixed by next Monday evening. This is torture! Wish me luck lol.

So - my internet is SHOT. I have fiber internet and the fiber box went kaput. And it's been a few days now and it SUCKS! I've been trying to use my hotspot for anything I need to do and have to use my laptop since my desktop doesn't have wifi capability. I have some videos recorded and I'm attempting to edit one as we speak, but it's much harder on my laptop and I don't have any of my tools/logos/etc what nots. Thankfully all my Google stuff is shared, so I can at least do my remote work.
In any case, if I can get this last clip downloaded and edited, I will try to export my video and see how long it will take to upload. I'm spoiled with fiber, let me tell you, so this has been brutal for me. lol
So if you don't see any videos for a bit, that is why. The tech guy doesn't come out until next Monday, which blows, but what're you gonna do right? I'll be working from home that day for sure and prayyyy that they are able to fix it.
