Consumers today are more interested than ever before in their food. The National Dairy Farmers Assuring Responsible Management (FARM) Program provides assurance that U.S. dairy farmers are doing what’s right. As science and best practices evolve, the goal of the FARM Program is to continue showing customers and consumers that dairy farmers are meeting the highest standards and best management practices essential to responsible dairy farming.
Launched in 2009, the FARM Program was created by the National Milk Producers Federation in partnership with Dairy Management Inc. The program helps ensure the success of the entire dairy industry by demonstrating U.S. dairy farmers are committed to on-farm social responsibility.
The FARM Program focuses on five program areas - Animal Care, Antibiotic Stewardship, Biosecurity, Environmental Stewardship and Workforce Development.
