We should never be ashamed of the scars we wear from the battles our body, soul, and mind has fought to better ourselves. I know this year has given me several new scars, and I will wear them proudly as I move onto this new year!
Seneca said that “no man is more unhappy than he who never faces adversity. For he is not permitted to prove himself.” I know I’ve faced adversity. And I welcome more of it.
