Hey Sweeties ๐ฆ
Happy birthday to all of the November people out there! (Which includes myself and two of my kids. I'll be 53 in a few days of posting this.)
I'm just glad this new phone let me access a picture for this (this time!) Still learning how to do stuff. And that's a thing at EVERY age! Always keep learning and growing, my dears!
Whatever your age, whatever you're working on, you are valid and loved!

Hey Sweeties ๐ฆ
Is it Trans Visibility Week, or Trans Awareness Week? Either way, I see you, I love you, and you are valid! ๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ

Hey Sweeties ๐ฆ
It doesn't look good here in the US right now. But I saw something posted, either here on YouTube or maybe Facebook... We're like glitter. Once you open that pack of glitter, it's everywhere, forever. That's us. We're not going anywhere. And every day we continue to exist, there are more opportunities to change things for the better.
Go hug somebody (with consent!) and/or cry if you need to. And then buckle up, because we're not going anywhere.
Remember that you are valid and loved!

Hey Sweeties!๐ฆ
It's Election Day here in the US. Voting is so important. If you're eligible to vote, please do so! Meanwhile, I'm *also* praying. But seriously, I am cautiously optimistic.
No matter what, You Are Valid and Loved!

Hey Sweeties! ๐ฆ
I'm just here reminding you that if you're having a yucky day, tomorrow will be better. (I'm saying this for my benefit as much as yours.) Whatever life throws at you, however you cope, remember that you are valid!
Here, have some mama hugs!

Hey Sweeties! ๐ฆ
The Jewish year 5785 has begun, as has the festival of Sukkot, as has Birthday Season for my family. I have now officially been a mama for 27 years!
What has been going on that you'd like to share? Whatever it is, remember that you are valid and loved! โค๏ธ๐งก๐๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐๐๐ค

Hey Sweeties! ๐ฆ
A bunch of little things are suddenly showing signs of improvement, and I'm so grateful! I'm not ready to give many details, and the big stuff in my life is the same for now, but little signs of forward movement are encouraging! It's like seeing tiny sprouts pop up in the garden! ๐ค
I'm so grateful for my friends, old and new, who choose to bless my life with their presence.
While we're on the topic of appreciating positive stuff, be on the lookout for my yearly Sweetness Review! That's all about the good things that have happened in the past year. I know it's been quite a while since my last video. (At least I've already started on my notes for it!)
Whether you currently see your efforts starting to sprout yet or not, YOU ARE VALID!

Hey Sweeties ๐ฆ
I couldn't let this day, October 7,2024, pass without acknowledging the hostages that are still being held by Hamas. A year ago today (secular calendar) Hamas attacked that tiny little dot of a democracy in the middle east. I can't even imagine being held captive for a year, while most of the world cries out to free the captors!
Whoever isn't clear on what happened, Google is your friend. Let's all remember to think about WHY we believe what we believe, and who is promoting what story. Stay on the right side of history.
May all who are in dangerous situations soon be safe and free.
Hugs for all who need them:

Hey Sweeties! ๐ฆ
Rosh Hashanah (the new Jewish year) starts tomorrow night. May the new year bring:
*Release of the remaining hostages
*Health
*Security
*Prosperity
*Joyful celebration!
Whether this is something you celebrate or not, you are valid and loved!
L'shana tovah u'm'tukah! (To a good and sweet year!) ๐๐โค๏ธ๐งก๐๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐๐๐ค

Hey Sweeties! ๐ฆ
I assembled this pointer (we use them for reading from the Torah scroll) from a kit last Sunday at Torah study. I forgot to ask permission to share the name of the friend who taught the lesson, so I can't say right now. But it was a good time!
Torah scrolls are hand written by ordained scribes, using traditional supplies and techniques that are pretty much the same as thousands of years ago! Because of this, if we touched it directly while reading from it, the letters would smudge, and I'll get into just how big a problem that is, if somebody asks.
Whether you read Torah (or another sacred book) or not, remember that you are valid and loved! โค๏ธ๐งก๐๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐๐๐ค
