About
Santasree Sasmal, a Ph.D scholar from Kolkata, has been training herself rigorously in the divine art of dance since she was merely 5 years old. Later, under the mentorship of Guru Shri Bichitrananda Swain, Santasree developed her Odissi skills immensely. And now under the guidance of Shrimati Rojalin Mahapatra, Santasree has grown more to become one of the most prominent Odissi performers in India. She has recieved many awards, including the likes of EZCC A Graded artist award and has performed across numerous festivals throughout India. She's a post graduate in Odissi Dance from the prestigious RABINDRA Bharati university, qualified UGC NET in Performing Arts and strives to impart her knowledge and skills to the next generation.
