I was inspired by ‪@Aegiker‬ 's Ocarina of Time: Chaos Edition mod, and decided to try and throw together my own version for Indigo! I'm currently up to 41 chaos effects, I think my goal is gonna be 64 total, for obvious reasons :) I'm going to backport this to the Chapter 2 demo and re-release it with an option to toggle on Chaos Mode. It's been over a year since the Chapter 2 demo, so if you've been thinking of replaying it, now's a good time to have some silly fun with your next playthrough!

If you're not familiar with "Chaos Edition" style mods, their aim is to add a bunch of fun and chaotic elements to gameplay like funny cosmetics, randomly spawning enemies, strange item behaviors, etc. that get toggled on and off as you play, for a truly chaotic experience.

Anyway, I plan to have this done and released by the end of the week, but you guys know me and how good I am at keeping deadlines for myself, sooo....

P.S. comment below on this post if you'd like to suggest a chaos effect! I'll try to include all the suggestions that are feasible / reasonable to implement.

We have a build of Indigo: Chapter 2 working on PC now thanks to this project, and I'm working to iron out all the kinks and make it available for y'all to play. I was able to play through the first half of the game or so on PC without any crashes, so things are looking up. I plan to add some special features and new changes specific for the recomp re-release of Indigo: Chapter 2, in addition to the 30/60 fps and hi-res widescreen, hopefully it will be worth another playthrough!

The modeling and animation work is already completed, this will be covering the parts of bringing him into the game and giving him AI and interactions with the player.

Indigo: Chapter 2 is here!

I want to do translations to Spanish, German, French, and Portuguese, but those are not ready yet. If you are a native speaker of those languages and would prefer to play in that language you will need to wait a couple weeks for that.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share that as of about 3 minutes ago I merged the "final" change for the demo and cut a patch. We're doing some closed beta / private playtesting, and then one more round of bug fixes, but expect Indigo: Chapter 2 to be ready for you to play within the next week!

How do you plan to play Indigo? While I want to support as many platforms as possible, it's hard to justify spending a ton of time trying to achieve compatibility with something only a fraction of players will use. This will help me understand what deserves the most attention for the best experience possible!

Help us decide the content for Indigo Chapter 2, the next public demo!

We are in the process of planning content for the next demo release, and I wanted to get some public opinions about it. I'd love to start a conversation here for y'all to share your thoughts.

Essentially we have come down to two options:
**Option 1**: A more robust tech demo, somewhat of a continuation of part 1, highlighting new features and mechanics. Things would be pretty loosely connected with more of an emphasis on "Look what we're working on, test these new crazy items and puzzles and let us know if we're still heading in the right direction". This would feel very demo-y like Part 1 did.

**Option B**: A completed, somewhat polished slice of the game, roughly the first few hours of content. This would include a much more focused narrative with details on the story and the world of Valana. A focus on sidequests, exploration, and early game in general. This might not include many of the "big ticket" items you've been seeing in the devlog videos, but feel a lot more like an actual game with a well defined beginning and end, more structured.

We internally have our own big list of pros and cons for each but I'd like to get some unbiased perspectives. Thanks in advance for taking the time to help us out!
