A creature with exposed skull and brain. It has its cerebellum pierced by nails. Its jaws are open wide to let out a long, legged tongue that incorporates a fetus, which has a big eye replacing its brain and coming out of its cal aria.
From a series of “body horror” portraits I drew as a reaction to seeing H.R. Giger’s artworks for the first time.
