Good Morning Sweet Friends! Just to clarify in yesterday's "Surprise Tuesday Video"... When shopping at ShopRite if you are buying an item with a digital coupon you can only use it for the times it says it allows for that digital coupon. So sometimes it's 1 other times it may be 4. If it is a sale priced item without a digital coupon you can get 4 per variety if states that! Just so you understand the difference between how many you can buy with a really low sale price versus a digital coupon. Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Good Morning Sweet Friends! I have been a bit quiet on here and over on IG this week. So much going on in the world. First off our continued prayers and thoughts for all those affected by Hurricane Helene. Such tragedy and devastation...So blessed though, to be seeing such an outpouring of support from all over our country for those touched by this disaster. God Bless you all!
Politics seems to be the hot topic as well... it's literally being pushed everywhere. I can't imagine there is a person left that doesn't know who they are voting for in the Presidential Election at this point LOL!
I have also been a bit under the weather with a bad cold. I am slowly coming around and I am so thankful.
We have a video coming out tomorrow that will touch upon the dock workers strike, panic buying, and how we encourage you to handle it all. We will also present our loss leader and discount buying food haul. As we get in the kitchen this week, we share a warm, cozy, and totally yummy breakfast idea that you need to make ASAP!

Find the beauty and let it make you smile. It doesn’t have to be anything other than a gentle nudge for us to realize our blessings. Paul and I want to be that nudge for you today. It’s not about how much money you have. It’s not about how big your house is. It’s about living a life that is pleasing to you and a blessing to others. Good Morning Friends! The whirlwind continues here at our home lol. We have relatives in from Oklahoma which is beyond a blessing. There have been yummy meals to make, long chats around our kitchen table, and slumber parties galore. It'a a wonderful time.
Through all the business we have encountered autumn as it has slowly been creeping in. Our temperatures during the night have dropped to the 50's. Our daytime highs only in the 70's. We can sense it's approaching with a sense of excitement and apprehension. Gone are the long warm days that summer gives us. Daylight is dwindling and the nights stay around a bit longer. Along with those aspects comes a much cozier time. Heartier meals of soups and stews will soon be gracing our tables. The brilliance of the autumnal colors will start to blaze in a matter of weeks. Life will slow a bit and our wood burning stove will be lit. Let us be diligent in finding contentment in our homes. Let us practice gratitude for all we have and the natural beauty this season brings. Continue to find ways to be frugal on a daily basis. Each season has its own splendor and beauty. Autumn probably has the boldest entrance. The physical grace of summer fades and the vibrancy of cool weather enters. Enjoy it! Make a pumpkin spice something and smile! Good morning, sweet friends! Just wanted to check in and let you know what’s been going on. Our son had two impacted wisdom teeth removed on Monday. He stayed with us a couple days. It’s always great to have him home. He recovered really quickly thank God!
This summer has been one of the busiest we can remember. Kind of exhausting actually 😂
One of the greatest blessings has been being able to pull ready-made food out of the freezer for dinner. The ham cakes we had made together in a recent video. Nonna’s homemade pasta sauce. Cooked chicken breast made into chicken salad. I am trying to prep more and more this way. Not only does it save a tremendous amount of money, but it makes meal time so much easier. I encourage you to get some premade food into the freezer. Nothing makes life easier than knowing a delicious meal is prepped and ready to go when 5 o’clock rolls around.
Can’t wait to see you all on Friday! We are sharing a picture of our son from yesterday letting friends and family know he’s doing well. This is after the great 2024 tooth debacle😂! Share with us down below what you have ready to go in your freezer for meal times!

It's Thrifty Tuesday! Good Morning Sweet Friends! Hope you are doing well!
Paul and I were in the Dollar Tree the other day to get a greeting card. Beautiful cards at an amazing price if you haven't thought of getting your cards there before. Anyhoo, while we were there a salesperson was marking down boxes of their Gold Medal bread to .25 cents a loaf. At first I was thinking I didn't need bread and why waste the .25 cents. I knew we wouldn't eat it just like that or for a sandwich. Then I starting thinking. That's an amazing price for a bread loaf and what could I use it for if I decided to buy it. So many thoughts came to me; croutons, bread crumbs, bread frittata, freezing it for later...
So Paul and I picked up 3 loaves and promptly stuck 2 in the freezer. We made a ton of crispy, garlicky, buttery croutons with the other. My point being, keep on eye out for items like this that are ridiculously low priced. Though it may not be something you traditionally buy, is there a way to incorporate that item into your meal plan this week?
Now, don't buy something you know you'll never use or no-one will eat. That's a total waste. Being creative with sale items no matter where or when they show up is always pause for thought. Just be creative and let your imagination fly.

When the computer glitched on us last week I started thinking. Do you ever feel like you are not doing enough? Not being as productive as you want to be? Perhaps you spent more financially this month than you intended. You've slacked off on a goal you wanted to accomplish. Guess what? It's Okay. We all strive to be the best we can be. Sometimes we may fall short and that is fine! We pick up the pieces and move forward. We start over. We reestablish those targets we want to accomplish and head towards them. Each of us has our own journey and it's a beautiful journey. No, it's not perfect but it's our beautiful journey!
So today, my sweet viewers, take a deep breath and realize how great you are doing. How far you have come. The many hurdles you have accomplished. Be proud of your beautiful self! You are doing great! Frugal On (LOL) and keep saving and accomplishing! You are so loved and appreciated!
