Some unfortunate news regarding the most recent Wilds video (https://youtu.be/FgC8hmc3Lm4) where we covered 3 main topics:
1. Nerscylla hints & theory
2. New Arkveld details & the official game box reveal in general
3. A new interview with Ryozo from Gamescom Asia by this publication: nmiagaming.com/
On topic 3, the interview, we have now been informed by multiple sources, the chief one being the publication itself which reached out to us, that the questions & answers are infact not real and just speculation on the part of their journalist. (Here is the relevant part that conversation, the outlet itself is of course also distressed one of their media partners has gone rogue like this: imgur.com/OCt1tJX)
So any info in that video on the interview and the chief 3 questions of "Roster Size, Map Amount & Returning Monsters" should now be ignored and forgotten about.
It is a damn shame this happened, I don't blame anyone who covered this as I can't speak for every creator but I know at least us and the Arekkz team do our due diligence and when it's a literal actual real journalist working for an actual real news outlet that DID have an actual real interview with Ryozo there's not much to know past that and anyone could reasonably see why this information would be taken as real, the fact someone would jeopardize their job to post speculation in the frame of real interview QnA is beyond me and they've now released their own apology video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvlPk...
On our part I've now updated the video title & thumbnail that along with the pinned comment it points too now makes it impossible for anyone new seeing it to fall for the same misinformation, the reason I have elected to leave it up however is that as I said at the start of this the video is about 3 main topics, 2 of which are still valid and worthwhile but beyond that as I also said everyone has covered this and most wont do anything towards undoing the misinfo which is more important than just hiding it, now everyone who sees the video for the first time or comes back to it will not just be not misinformed but actively be un-misinformed, I've also disabled all the monetisation I am able to disable on it (YT/Network may overrule it from time to time).
Ultimately a random post from a random person causing trouble is one thing but being made to look a fool by someone in a real professional position with the trust that carries doesn't feel good and I'm sorry this has happened to us, to you guys, to our fellow creators and to Monster Hunter.
