A little late posting pics but look who graduated!!!
Sam's school experience has been quite unique the last 2 years as we have traveled the world. We gave him the option to come back and finish a regular school year, but he wanted to continue to travel.
I am so grateful we did! I have watching him grow and become in ways that I had always hoped but didn't know if it was possible.
I watched his love grow for his siblings, for all people and cultures, for his parents, and most of all I have watched his love grow for his Savior and the gospel of Jesus Christ!
I couldn't be more proud of him and I have full confidence he will go out and make this world a better place.
If you don't know Sam, you may be surprised to know that:
* He is a fantastic cook!! Of anything - from gourmet to baking
* He is a huge tease
* He plays the piano beautifully
* He loves the mountains
* He loves to travel and adventure
* He is amazing at photography
* He is kind, nurturing, and loving
* And so much more...
Congrats Sam! It is not easy to graduate when it all depends on you to finish especially when crossing time zones, climates, languages, and constant travel.

The struggle is REAL!
If you have been watching our incredible World Travel journey here and on YouTube, you may think it has just been super EASY and FUN!
There have been moments of SUPER FUN but traveling full time is NOT easy.
The BIGGEST stressor is trying to make a full time income on YouTube.
It has been HARD! And frankly, we aren’t doing very well! 😵💫
So, out of necessity, I have chosen to start an online business that I am SUPER EXCITED about.
This will allow us to continue to travel full time, make the money we need, AND only have to spend 2 Hrs a day to build the business.
I’m so excited!

To date, we have traveled to 30 countries on six continents and we love being together as a family. We are so grateful to all of you for supporting, watching, and being part of Our Backman Family!
We visited the Philippines a year and a half ago, for the first time. Our channel took off. We were so excited. We have been back three times (for a month each time) and we have a lot of great footage and videos of the people, beauty, and fun of the Philippines. As a thank you, we will be putting together a special Philippines video for all of you to enjoy, because we #lovethephilippines

How is Sam already 18?
Sam has been such an incredible human being to raise! He is so caring, so responsible, so fun, so happy, so nurturing, so kind and good! He is amazing at cooking, piano, skiing, and being the best big brother!
It will be hard to let him go when the time comes, but he is so ready to make something amazing with his life! It is such an honor to be his mother! I am proud to call him mine!!
