Sticking with the theme of my most recent video. It was an incredible weekend of getting back to nature, taking the time to be totally in tune with my surroundings. Fishing is one of my favorite ways to decompress and wash any stress I am feeling away. It was one of the most quiet afternoons I have experienced on the river in a long while.
Feeling refreshed and ready to work on the next project this week! Always excited to see what will happen.

It's taken me a while to find the shift in perspective I needed to get back to a mindset to be creative again... I have too much I want to talk about to have another day go by without doing so. Video what I have learned and gained over the last few months posted.

Greetings my good people!
Its been a great holiday season and I appreciate everyone's support as the channel is finishing 2023 on a really strong note. Which is super exciting. 2024 is going to be a good one! I can feel it.
I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year... will be back to normal programming starting next week when I am out of holiday mode. Haven't had much time to get my thoughts together for another long form video as of yet. Weekly Sunday uploads are the goal on going with sprinkles of shorts posted in between! Live stream schedule is going to have to change for the time being as I want to just focus on production and editing currently. When the channel gets bigger I will get back to doing a live stream night.

The Pale Blue Dot...
This single image is so powerful. Earth... Is just a single dot in vast cosmic sea and th rays of light that Voyager one is taking in as it captures this final snap shot of our home world and begins its journey outside of the solar system in 1990...
This single picture and Carl Sagans words from "The Pale Blue Dot" had me reflecting on what humanities definition of what "The Greater Good" means for our species.

I am very happy with the reach my channel has had with even just getting back into the swing of things this year.
It's been a roller coaster year and I know if keep working toward building up Catchintherift. It will become the community and company I want it to be someday.
It's always been my dream own my own studio. And I am finally making it happen. π

Taking the night off to catch up on some rest... 9.5 hour days into working on the channel all night warrents taking a breather now and then so I can keep making the best videos I can with the time I do have available!
