It's release day for our brand new single 'Call of the Wild' and what better way to celebrate it than with a UST in the form of some classic 80s vampire action from the legendary 'The Lost Boys' (1987). Check it out and let us know in the comments below what you think about the song and the video!

A weird short story by H.P. Lovecraft makes for a weird 80s body horror movie which makes for a weird UST. Not a very well known flick or even a very good one, but definitely has its moments and the 80s B-movie horror feel in this is unmistakable. Check it out and let me know how you think it works with a little Crazy Lixx music on top!

It's summer time! ☀️ So here's a really "summery" video UST to (probably) our most "summery" song ever - 'She's Mine' from 2010 set to some of my favorite clips from the feel-good movie 'She's Out of Control' from 1989, starring the adorable Ami Dolenz in her first real movie role. What do you guys think, does it bring out the summer vibes in you too? Let us know in the comments below!

When you say 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' most people will think of the Sarah Michelle Gellar-lead series that ran between 1997-2003. But for me there will always only be one true Buffy Summers and that is the one portrayed by Kristy Swanson in the 1992 horror comedy 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'. A perfect casting in my book as she appears more athletic, sassier, more cluelessly blonde (at least from the start) and quite frankly way hotter than her 1997 counterpart. It also doesn't hurt that she's surrounded by a great side-cast including some really renowned names. Sure, it's quite a silly movie overall but I think it captures the time-period perfectly and is still an enjoyable little flick, 30 years later, if you ask me.

What do you guys think? Which one's the true Buffy in your book? And how do you like the song/video combination?

Depending on your age you will probably know her either as a child actress in movies like 'E.T.' or 'Firestarter' or by her later career with comedies like 'The Wedding Singer' or light-harted action flicks like the 00s 'Charlies Angels'-movies, but what if I told you that Drew Barrymore actually broke away from her child acting career by playing the "hot bad girl" in a steamy, naughty thriller back in 1992? Well, most people either never saw this underrated 90s movie or forgot they ever saw it but I think it's definately worth it to watch 'Poison Ivy' and Drew in a pretty different role for her. Here are some clips from the movie along with a slightly shortened version of our 2019 track 'Weekend Lover'. Enjoy! And let us know in the comments below if you've ever seen this movie.

Sometimes all you need is to just sit back and spend an hour and a half on a cheesy late 80s horror/slasher. No real plot twists, no "subverted expectations", no politics, no messaging - Just pure, campy, violent entertainment. So if you're anything like me you should probably enjoy the 1989 horror flick 'Nightmare Beach'. Here are some of my favorite clips from the movie to the tune of our 2017 song 'Shot With a Needle of Love'. Let us know how you like it!

The 1991 action movie "Stone Cold" was supposed to be the movie to launch Brian Bowsworth's definite movie star career and make him the new action hero of the 90s. Now, as most of you know, that didn't really happen, but that doesn't take away from the fact that this is a darn cool, typical early 90s action flick with some really good actors in it, not least the awesome antagonist played by Lance Henriksen, who's always been a favorite actor of mine (and he can play both the hero and the bad guy, not to common in Hollywood if you think about it?). Anyway, here are some of my favorite parts of the movie, to the tune of our brand new single "Two Shots at Glory" - Enjoy!

Since I was young teenager, I've always loved almost everything about this movie, from the ridiculous (but engaging) story and the awesome cast to the cinematography and the epic finale at the end. But something that's always bothered my about 'Airheads' (1994) is that the song they've been building up so much during the movie was a major let-down once you finally get to hear it in the end and I've always felt 'The Lone Rangers' deserved a better rock tune than what they got. So I figured, perhaps a good ol' Crazy Lixx banger will do the trick? What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments below!

Excalibur from 1981 is one of my all time favorite movies. Sure, the acting and dialogue can be a bit over the top dramatic at times and the attempt at any sort of historical accuracy is absolute zero, but I love it nevertheless and I actually miss these kind of theatrical fantasy movies nowadays. They just don't seem to make them anymore. Anyway, here are some of my favorite scenes from the movie accompanied by our cover of the unreleased KISS demo of 'Sword And Stone'. Enjoy! And let us know what you think of the song and the video in the comments below!
