Itās not about just waiting, itās about what youāre doing while you waitā¦whew šš¾šš¾šš¾
If Iām being honest, I havenāt been feeling like myself at all lately. And then the memory popped upā¦.This month makes a year since I stepped out on Faith and left a career of 17+ years.
Apparently, there are still parts of me that is grieving what was.
Even with experiencing the faithfulness of God, The āsurvivalā mentality still tried to creep up on me and rob me of my peace. I found myself becoming more and more anxious about what was to come and I begun to wanderā¦why wasnāt I further along by now!!
From physically experiencing what felt like a ton of stress in my neck/shoulder area, to mentally experiencing creative block, I just couldnāt get it togetherš¤§š¤§, like I legit felt stuck!!!
And then it clickedā¦.girlllllll you better let go,begin worshipping and get your praise on cause a breakthrough is near.
Yall, like I legit started praise dancing in my kitchen TODAY, because aināt no way im going to willingly allow the enemy (inner me..including my thoughts)ā-have what rightfully belong to me.
So here I amā¦Iām outside yall (meaning I made it out of my stories and on the page) lol
No but seriously, if you can relate to any of this, let this encourage you.
God is about to do a new thing. Iām not saying this to make you feel goodāIām saying this to remind you why itās important that you fight through the adversity! Let go of your desire to control, Put a praise on it and begin to worship God like never before. There is no safer placeā¤ļø
God has need of you in the Kingdom and you canāt make the impact you are called to make if youāre silent and not being intentional in your waiting season!!! The truth is, God is really waiting on you to show up differently while you āWait on himā!!!

**Youāll never hear me say giving your yes to God is a smooth walk in the park because babyyy it aināt, but when we surrender and allow God to be God, there is a peace like no other, in all seasons!

People ask all the time how I do it all. My response always have and always will be āI DONT!!ā Itās the Holy Spirit thats within me that I have to call!.
And when there isnt peace in the chaos of it all, itās the Holy Spirit that lets me know to get back in alignment!
The Holy Spirit is a friend, for sureā¦for every one that will believe.
So the next time life get disorganized and all out of whack, If youāre a believer, I encourage you to get back in position and call on the Holy Spirit that will grace you to do the āhard thingsā with ease.
Truly a beautiful gift to have access toā¦make use of it and never take it for granted.

You see, the enemy wants your words of encouragement, wisdom, revelation, your story, your books, the business ideas heās given you, to remain in your head and never come out of your mouth! He want your visions to never leave the paper you wrote them on.
Long story short, He wants nothing good that was INTENDED to build the Kingdom of God..be manifested in the earth.
He wants you to remain self consumed!!!!!!
This is why you must live intentional. You werenāt born to simply exist. Know and accept that God has created YOU to be a Glory carrier and you carry it by being obedient in knowing when to speak up and when to showup!
The next time you have an oppurtunity to do either, I pray you allow this message to bring comfort and minister to you louder than the discomfort you may experience because in the end, itās not even about you!

Finally finished my registry!!!!! In close to a month, baby boy will be here! š¶š½š¤©As much as I wouldāve loved to do a baby shower and celebrate his arrival, considering how Iāve been feeling lately, I just knew I wouldāve been extremely exhausted and overwhelmed with putting everything together myself .
However, for those that would like to be a blessing to Baby Brown and our family, we truly appreciate it! Although this is another boy, we are def starting over since there will be such a huge gap from BabyBoy and Papa Bear who turns 4 this week.
Believe me we are super excited and canāt wait to add a whole nother little face and personality to bring joy to our family and others.

Since transitioning from behind the chair, Iāve had a few people ask āDo you think youāll ever miss doing hair?ā
Although I still grieve what wasā¦ To answer the Question, chileeee no! For one, I got FOUR girls, and three thatās always telling me how they want their hair. Trust me I have enough heads to keep me busy.
And for two, Iām after fulfillment and true success for me is walking in my true identity and being in Gods will! If it wasnāt for instructions/obedience, Iām sure I wouldāve still been doing hair but we all know obedience is better than sacrifice!
For As long as I could remember, I did HAIR! I went from doing hair as a hobby to receiving my first paying client in the 7th grade. In 10th grade, I started journey to becoming a professional stylist.
From there, through my college years, growing a family, and relocating, I continued to stand behind the chair.
A career as a successful stylist had its perks! It allowed me to make my own schedule, meet amazing people, and make quick money..,easy!! Many people identified me as the girl that did hair good.
But then I started discovering my true identity in Christ! I wanted to know more about the girl God created me to be and what my purpose was.
This was when I realized that me being a great stylist was simply scratching the surface. He quickly revealed to me that my identity and purpose was not tied to how well I did hair.
Can you say freedom!!!My prayer life even changed. I begun to pray that God aligned my desires with his will for my life š„¹šš¾
It took years of me breaking down old mindsets and surrendering parts of me to God to finally get to the place where I was confident enough to not just embrace the talent/gift he gave me with my hands, but to more importantly begin to accept my Voice.
Whew, this was different for me. My voice??? The very thing the enemy attempted to take from me? It felt so weird.
It was end of last year, When he first told me to transition from behind the chair, I was so afraid. ATP I understood my identity wasnāt tied to my career but babyyyy my financial security sure was! (My exact thought was : What about my COIN DEAR GOD!) š„“
But he would often remind/reveal to me that there was soo much more inside of me than what I could do with my hands. šš¾
Now I can truly say..As a vessel chosen to encourage and impact others through first hand experience for Gods Glory, it brings more fulfillment than anything Iāve done. Whether In hair industry, Motherhood, you name it. Its unmatched!
Today makes 5 months since Iāve left my salon suite and God has proven himself mighty in more ways than a few!š (will share in a later post)
But for now,
š«I want to encourage you, if GOD is telling you to do a thing, do it! Whether you fully understand it or not. Whether youāre afraid or not because youāre forever evolving and so is your purpose. True success is not tied to a particular thing but it can always be found on the other side of your yes!!!!!

After intentionally trying to grow my channel for over a year, I couldnāt seem to make it pass the 500 mark for anything. All I knew was to remain consistent.
But let me tell you about our good father aka GOD!!!!! He literally took one of my lowest seasons everā¦.
The season he instructed me to REST! Thatās rightā¦ rest and sit at his feet!
The season he instructed that I be still, cut out all outside noise and listen! The season, from obedience, I had to gave up my āfinancial securityā by stepping from behind the chair after 17 yrs+ doing what I absolutely loved. The season I found out I was pregnant the 7th time around which met my body would experience fatigue and so many more changes.
ā¦THE SEASON WHICH I WOULD GRIEVE ALL THINGS OLD TO EMBRACE ALL THINGS NEW!
Life as I knew it, was not the same! So I experienced grief as I died to myself yet again!
But GOD! šš¾ He just keep showing his hands and thatās enough to remain encouraged and keep going!
There is absolutely no one BUT GOD that can use your lowest moments to elevate you in this way! Itās not the amount of subscribers that I rejoice for! Itās the power of God and his faithfulness! Itās the oppurtunity to influence and impact at a greater capacity!
š«Itās that he can take something so minute from our hand and create something much greater in no time when we obey and surrender!
š«Itās that he can enlarge our territory and increase our ability to impact even when we are in a low seasons where we struggle with whether or not we even made the right decision or if we even qualifyā¦because itās during these times he builds character, clarity, and help prepare you for your next!
š«Itās that when we seek God, he will NEVER leave us hanging ā¦even in our low seasons when we feel he isnāt near. WHEN we pay attention to even the smallest details, there is still a reason to be grateful and keep going. He will always show himself mighty, strong and FAITHFUL!
Itās all PURPOSE!
This is why I rejoice!!!!! This catupult moment was a reminder that as long as we do what he call us to doā¦ he will ALWAYS do what he promised!
