My latest upload Road To Dune, Episode 137 will be my last Road To Dune video. Now that part two is out, and we have Denis Villeneuve's complete adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune. I feel now is a good time to wrap up these series of videos.
I'd like to thank everyone who is subscribed to my channel, who viewed my videos, gave them a like, or even a dislike, and interacted with me.
It has been lots of fun making the Road To Dune videos, and it has been a blast interacting with other Dune fans. As we have anticipated, speculated, and looked forward to these films together. That was more fun for me than going to see the actual films themselves.
This does not mean I'm shutting down my channel. I'm just wrapping up the Road To Dune series of videos that I've been doing since May of 2018. It also does not mean I'll never make another Dune related video again ether.
It's just time to wrap up this particular segment on my channel.
Thank you all
LONG LIVE THE FIGHTERS!!!

There isn't much Star Wars related that gets me excited these days. However this is one of those things. It is the Barnes and Noble leather bound edition of Star Wars: The Bounty Hunter Wars. This was a trilogy of books published from 1998 to 1999, and written by K.W. Jeter.
I read this trilogy of books during November, and December of 1999. While trying to recover from a really bad lung infection, which caused me to quit smoking. I remember loving this story and couldn't put it down. To this day it is the best Star Wars book I have read.
So when I saw that a leather bound edition of the trilogy was being released. I had to have it. Well I ordered it this week, and can't wait for it to arrive.

So James Patterson, and Brian Sitts have written a new book featuring The Shadow. I just found this out in the wild one day at my local drug store. I had no idea this was coming out so I was totally surprised. I got it on e-book, and read it while I was on vacation. It was a blast to read! I'll be reviewing it tomorrow on my channel.

I’m on vacation right now, and checked out a few used book stores. I hit science fiction gold at one store. I’ve spent a lot of time in used book stores, and I’ve never come across these books. Unless it’s a soft cover edition and only a couple of years old.
To find one that is hardcover never happened to me until yesterday, and from the size of this edition. I can tell it’s a science fiction book club edition.

Hi everyone, I have a review of the first episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Picard season 2. I tried to get the strange new worlds review up tonight, but my computer is uploading it extremely slow. So it won't be up until tomorrow.

Tomorrow afternoon I'll be taking a look at the science fiction/cyber punk classic Neuromancer by William Gibson.

I haven't uploaded anything this week, because I've been busy putting together this video. It explores the history of Mars colonization in The Expanse. How the Epstein drive averted a war between Earth, and bought Mars its independence from the UN. Life on Mars, and the MCRN.
James S.A. Corey has really fleshed out the universe that the stories of The Expanse takes place in, and the lore is just as interesting as any in science fiction.
The video will premier tomorrow morning at 9am (GMT).

On twitter the other day I stumbled on this really strange thread. Where Bladerunner 2049 was getting a lot of hate. Now I like the movie, and I really don't care if someone doesn't like the film.
However this was coupled with this argument that Blade Runner 2049 was a complete bomb in both theater, and on DVD/BR release. Also that the movie has already been forgotten, and will never be even reach cult status.
So I pose the question here.
Do you consider Blade Runner 2049 a classic, or future classic?
Do you think it has gained, or will gain a cult movie status?
Do you think it is garbage that only critics praise, and general movie fans hate?

So I've been working a lot of hours at work again. Sometimes the day job just gets in the way of the fun stuff. That's why my video out put has been lower. It has been a busy summer. However I'm working on a special Dune video with what spare time I have.
I decided to make it after getting asked many times in my comment section. The question will go should I read past Dune? Or alternatively. Should I read past Children of Dune. Also I get. Should I read the books by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson?
So I'm working on a video that deals with that question.
