On February 24, at 5 a.m., the whole country woke up. Bombs started exploding all over Ukraine.
âWe just took two bags and documents and left the Kyiv area,â explained Sergei. He and his family come from Bogatyrskaya, near Kyiv. âWe looked for a place to live and we found help at a reception point for refugees at the Romanian border. We were provided with shelter, food, and clothing.â
