I'm angry that a guy I used to look up to ended up being a freaking groomer. I unsubscribed from his channel and I hope he gets karma for what he has done to that kid.
That entirely destroyed my mood to even try to go back to vsynths, every once in a while some freaking ped0 or otherwise utterly malicious person happens and it feels like an unsafe space for kids and adults alike.

I'm neither; I refuse to join any side of the fandom discourse because I'm way too asexual to even notice characters are being sexualized most of the time (unless it's too on-your-nose). Like, most of it may woosh right over my head and I might even think some of this material might be some kinda hecked up humorous material instead of fetish fuel. (And how am I supposed to know, when people seem to have fetishes on all sorts of things? I don't really have the brain mechanisms to know it, get me?)
All I can say is that I'm really uncomfortable with l0l1sh0 and with exaggerated sexualization of women in traditional media, as well as toxic ideals of romance. Those are my personal opinions, that much is certain.
Though, I'd like to see my consent being respected and I'd rather not see that sort of material out of the blue while browsing social media, with no ways to specifically mute it or filter it away from the internet experience. I won't try to make those people stop (I'm not a social media mod, that's THEIR job), but I'd rather be able to NOT see any of it against my will, get me?
