Spring from our cottage garden 🌱

Aaron and I took these photos last year while we were putting our book Growing: a year of living and nurturing with the seasons together. It’s full of seasonal notes, planting ideas, and small joys from this cottage garden.

If you’d like a copy, there’s a link below to order—free international shipping via Blackwells

It’s publication day! šŸ“šāœØšŸŒ±

Growing: A Year of Living and Nurturing with the Seasons is now out in the world—you can find it in your local bookshop and all the usual places online (Amazon, Waterstones, WHSmith, Bookshop.org, etc.).

Following the rhythm of the seasons in my cottage garden, Growing blends practical guidance with personal reflections. Inside, you’ll find guides on keeping ducks, sowing seeds, growing food and flowers, and creating a cottage garden style.

I also share more personal reflections—especially on how the garden became a safe space for me to process my autism diagnosis years ago. It means so much to finally be able to share that in this book.

I’d love to see where Growing travels—if you spot it in a shop or receive your copy, please do share! Thank you so much to everyone who has ordered, shared kind words, or supported this book along the way.

For international orders, Blackwell’s offers free shipping, and you can also order through Waterstones. Find the links in my bio—I hope you enjoy reading!

I’m thrilled to finally share some exciting news: I’ve written a book! Over the past year (or so), I’ve been documenting life in the garden and everything I’ve learned along the way. Now, I’m excited to share it with you. Aaron and I worked on this together— I wrote the words, and he took the photos.

I’m delighted to introduce Growing: A Year of Living and Nurturing with the Seasons.

I hope both aspiring and seasoned gardeners will find the practical tips in this book helpful, as I share what I’ve learned over six years of tending our garden. And for those who don’t yet garden, I hope the calming reflections and beautiful photography offer a peaceful escape and a deeper appreciation for nature.

GrowingĀ is available for preorder at all the usual places and will be released in the UK March 6th, 2025. Follow the link below to reserve your copy. For international readers, Waterstones offer worldwide shipping.

Hey folks, I’ll be back with another garden tour on Monday at 5pm (GMT). We weren’t able to show you around in January as I’ve been a bit poorly. Really looking forward to getting back outside and sharing the garden with you again. Lots of hellebores to enjoy! (See third photo) 🌱🌸

800 bulbs in the ground today from my most recent bulb unboxing video! I’ve had to put in the next order already for another 1200 - I massively underestimated how many I was going to need for this area! Bring on Spring 🌷 if it all goes to plan it will look wonderful around April time.

Hello folks! We will be back with a garden harvest video end of this week/early weekend (depending on how quickly I can edit the video; and a day earlier on Patreon as per usual). It’s been a busy month and I took a few days off for my 30th birthday too. Looking forward to welcoming you back to the garden :) see you soon šŸ’•šŸŒ±
