You may have noticed a massive decline in the amount of content being published here in recent weeks. The reason? Not Covid, thankfully! Instead, it's something good!
I (Chris, the guy who puts the videos together) have taken a role at DualShockers.com. You'll find me scribbling about the wonderful world of video games over there from here on out. I'm also taking over the DualShockers YouTube channel to bring the poor bugger back to life. 22K subs and no new videos in a year? Shocking. (Pun intended!) The latest video is the TMNT review, and that was by me - give it a watch!

But what will happen to PPTV? That's a good question, and one I hope you'll help me answer. There are 7000 of you, after all, surely one of you has an idea?
One idea I had was to do simple gameplay videos for older games. You may have noticed I've already toyed with it with some of the recent Bourne Conspiracy/Die Hard Vendetta videos. Maybe some retro-reviews? Or just me playing a game for half an hour and talking utter crap? Or just let the channel die... I don't know. I'm open to suggestions and I'd appreciate the input from the dears who got the channel to where it is - YOU GUYS & GALS!!!
Whatever happens next with PPTV, it's been a good run as it is. I can remember when we didn't even have 100 subs and we were scrambling to produce something - anything - worthy to get us to 1000 subs for monetisation. We've come a long way since then. It wasn't just a solo effort - I had some great help from the team at Pure PlayStation (RIP) who wrote so many reviews that I turned in to videos.
Anyways, you'll hear from me on DualShockers from here on out, and maybe here if we can find a suitable thing to do with the channel.

Howdy, howdy, gorgeous gamers...
You may have noticed the output has massively reduced since around September, but we have had a couple of videos go up in the last week or two.
The reason? Life! There's no easy mode, sadly, and somebody decided to crank it up to Hardcore in recent months, so the main driver behind the channel - moi, Chris - has been off for a while.
The channel is still running and the review team (myself and other people play the games, write the reviews, and then I stitch it all together into sexy videos) are back at work, but considering we're heading into the holidays, the output won't be all that much. But we will return, and in greater numbers! But in January 2022... For now, the review videos will be infrequent but we'll get back to the usual pitter-patter soon :)

We've joined the rest of YouTube and we now offer "memberships" so that you can pay us a small amount of money each month to get the same stuff you were already getting. What a wonderful deal, huh... (There are some minor perks - if you want more details, don't be afraid to ask!)
The short of it is that the advertising revenue YouTube mercifully throws at our crumb-eating feet isn't enough to sustain the channel/website long term, so we're offering a super low entry subscription so that if you really, really like what we do, you can throw a few pennies our way so that the beans on toast can at least be warmed up.
