On the behalf of all ranks of Pakistan Air Force, Chief of the Air Staff Pakistan Air Force; Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu NI(M), has expressed his heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Air Commodore (Retd) Syed Sajad Haider, SJ; a decorated hero of 65 and 71 wars. Air Cdre Sajad had created legacy of bravery; wherein, during air battle he downed a number of enemy aircraft, alongside being member of the formation that attacked and destroyed enemy ground positions and assets in famous battle of Chawinda. Air Cdre Sajad had been a celebrated professional, best-seller author and a keen aviator. Valour, services and sacrifices of Air Cdre Sajad Haider will be remembered forever. Chief of the Air Staff prayed that May Allah bless the departed soul; and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

EXERCISE SPEARS OF VICTORY-2024 KICKS OFF AT KING ABDULAZIZ AIR BASE
06 February, 2024: The opening ceremony of Exercise Spears of Victory-2024 was held at Air War Centre Dhahran, King Abdul Aziz Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The exercise is witnessing participation of modern fighter jets and support elements from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, USA, UK, France, Greece, Oman, UAE, Qatar and Bahrain. Pakistan Air Force contingent will showcase its enhanced combat potential at the exercise alongside its JF-17 Thunder fighter jets, dedicated air & ground crew. The participation not only highlights PAF's commitment to regional and international cooperation but also underscores its capabilities and prowess to operate in diverse and challenging environments.
The fourth version of the exercise is being held in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia which will provide an opportunity to bolster interoperability within the participating Air Forces in the back drop of shared aerial defence challenges. In addition to fostering military relations, the exercise will also provided a platform to practice integrated employment of combat & combat support assets along with formulation and validation of tactics against contemporary threats.

PAK-QATAR JOINT AERIAL EXERCISE "ZILZAL-II" KICKS OFF IN QATAR
10 January, 2024: Pakistan Air Force and Qatar Emiri Air Force are all geared up to participate in joint aerial Exercise Zilzal-II, commencing in Qatar. First held in the year 2020, Zilzal-II air exercise is the 2nd in the series of these exercises, hosted by State of Qatar. The exercise is one of the most complex joint air force exercises, which aims at promoting interoperability between the two allied nations while providing an opportunity for shared learning. The exercise will mimic a near realistic aerial warfare scenario coupled with real-time opportunity for the participating Air Forces to test their operational readiness. Exercise Zilzal-II, aimed at improving joint planning mechanism, is considered as a historical benchmark to further solidify the existing defence partnership between the two brotherly countries.
During the exercise, PAF's newly inducted state-of-the-art J-10C fighter aircraft will flex its muscles against Eurofighter jets of Qatar Emiri Air Force in their first ever face-off in an aerial exercise.The successful induction and operationalization of the J-10C fighter jets in PAF's fighter fleet and their participation in yet another international exercise in an unprecedented short span of time is a remarkable achievement. The feat has been achieved in lines with modernization plan of Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, premised on smart inductions and focused indegenization. The participation of these fighter jets in the aerial exercise marks a significant milestone in PAF's journey towards a technologically advanced and formidable air force. 04 November, 2023: Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force visited PAF Base, Mianwali following a recent foiled terrorist attack.
During the visit, the Air Chief commended the on duty security personnel for their unwavering professionalism and bravery in thwarting the malicious attempt and neutralizing the intruders in the minimum possible time.
Chief of the Air Staff interacted with the base personnel, expressed his utmost appreciation for their exceptional commitment in putting service before self and reiterated the required level of readiness of each & every person in the Pakistan Air Force to counter any malicious intent of hostile elements & terrorist outfits.
He lauded the morale of base personnel and highlighted the collective resolve of PAF to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and preparedness in the face of evolving security challenges.
He also thanked the joint operations team comprising Zarar Company of Pakistan Army and civil LEAs for their timely support to counter the infiltration most optimally.

Alhumdolliah, combing and clearance operation at PAF Training Airbase Mianwali has been concluded and all nine terrorists have been sent to hell.
The successful operation was launched by security forces to eliminate any potential threat in the surrounding area following the cowardly and failed terrorist attack on the base this morning.
No damage has been done to any of the PAF’s functional operational assets, while only some damage was done to three already phased out non-operational aircraft during the attack.
The prompt and professional conclusion of the operation serves as a stark reminder to all enemies of peace that Pakistan's Armed Forces remain vigilant and are fully capable of defending the homeland from any threat.

PAF'S 14 NATION MULTINATIONAL AIR EXERCISE INDUS SHIELD-2023 KICKS OFF AT ACE
08 October, 2023: In a magnificent display of international camaraderie and airpower, PAF has proudly inaugurated its14 Nation Multinational Air Exercise, Indus Shield-2023, at an operational air base of Pakistan Air Force today. Air Vice Marshal Tariq Mehmood Ghazi, Air Officer Commanding, Central Air Command, Pakistan Air Force, was the Chief Guest at the inauguration ceremony.
While addressing the exercise participants Air Officer Commanding Central Air Command emphasized on the significance of multi-national air exercises in achieving common objectives in the face of evolving dynamics of air warfare. He commended the efforts of the Air Power Center of Excellence on the organization of the mega exercise, which would augment the existing partnership between the key allies in addition to bolstering interoperability amongst the participating Air Forces. He also added that the planning and execution of Exercise Indus Shield-23 underscores the vision of the esteemed, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force regarding the crucial role played by PAF in advancing technology, modernizing its capabilities and employing contemporary combat tactics to effectively address shared challenges of aerial defence. Air Vice Marshal Tariq Mehmood Ghazi highlighted that the exercise would prove to be a step forward, to promote warm and brotherly relations amongst the leading air powers of the region.
Exercise Indus Shield-2023 will witness participation from 14 esteemed Air Forces including Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Egypt, Oman, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Morocco, Uzbekistan, China, and Hungary.
