Parkinsonās NSW provide invaluable, essential services to people living with Parkinsonās, their families, carergivers and the NSW Parkinson's Community. Services include; Counselling, InfoLine staffed by registered Parkinson's specialist nurses, Specialist Parkinson's Nurses in the community, more than 90 Support Groups across NSW and education.

WHAT IS PARKINSON'S?
Parkinsonās disease is a movement and mood disorder typically presenting with symptoms such as slowness of movement, muscle rigidity, instability, tremor, depression and anxiety.
There are estimated to be some 220,000 Australians and more than 68,000 in New South Wales living with Parkinsonās. A diagnosis can occur at any age. Currently there is no known cause for the development of Parkinsonās and no cure.
