This is a fanmade poster (and concept) for an imaginary cartoon from 1871, titled “Luke & Winnie: The Defenders of Tamesburg”, set in the British city of Tamesburg.
The visual and narrative style is inspired by:
🎬 Cuphead – the retro 1930s cartoon look
🎭 Animaniacs – Amblin/Warner Bros surreal humor
🦸 1940s Superman – heroic black-and-white atmosphere
I wanted to create a nostalgic aesthetic, as if this were a forgotten vintage cartoon.
