You’ve written a book! It's such an exciting feeling to have a story finished and to be eager to share it with the world. But… how do you know if this book is ready to be published? You could technically work on it forever, right? You could tweak, rewrite, and adjust things for years and years… but you could also publish it too soon before it’s ready to be seen by the world and ruin your own reputation as an author!
So, how do you know if your book is ready to publish? Many writers have asked me this question, and that’s why, in this video, I’m going to show you how to do a self-assessment of your book to determine whether it’s time to share it with the world or if you need to do some more refining first.

The result?
An epic fantasy novel filled with some of your favorite tropes, including:

- An epic quest to fulfill a prophecy
- Dark Fantasy feat. dragons and magic
- Grumpy/Sunshine forbidden love
- Enchanted forests, mountains, adventure
- Resentful allies stranded together
- She’s an assassin, he’s a prince (and she’s supposed to kill him)
I had so much fun brainstorming this idea and building this story from scratch in real time, all while sharing this inside look at my outlining process with you!
It was all fun and games…
then something crazy happened. 🫢
I started getting more and more ideas for this story. 👀
I couldn’t stop thinking up new plot twists, character arcs, world-building, conflict, and drama…. 🤯
Then I went to the comments section and saw how many of you were saying: “Abbie! Please tell me you’re going to write this book! I want to read it NOW. Are you going to write it???”

I can’t help myself. 😏
Story ideas have a way of stealing my heart, and this one is no different. I’m very excited to develop more ideas for this story and eventually turn it into a real book that you can hold in your hands and read. 📖
