I’ve absolutely rode the Cannibal at Lagoon, Utah today, and to be honest, I regretted getting on it.
First off, there was this HUGE line when I got to the ride entrance. It took like 20 minutes for them to be done and it was our turn. Second off, the tunnel was SUPER dark that I could barely see anything. Third of all, the lift up felt like a fast elevator which I wouldn’t like AT ALL! Then when the door opened, there we were at the edge of the ride. This was completely fine because the ride stopped, but that was only for a moment before the whole train flew straight down and it felt like 180 degrees. I hated how high we were, but the speed of the roller coaster really didn’t help the ride experience, either.
Then the carts went UPSIDE down, and there was water beneath us with rocks that I felt like I was about to fall off and completely DIE. Thankfully I didn’t, because there were straps over me so I didn’t fall to my demise, but still, it was TERRIFYING! The last thing I remembered was that the ride had finally ended, but I felt like I had severe trauma going through the entire ride experience. To this day I still regret going on the ride, and if I have to ride it again, then I don’t even know what to do. Thankfully I never went on the ride again, and I seriously chose to NOT go through an experience like that ever at Lagoon since. So don’t expect me to ever record the ride with my iPhone 14, and ever ride it ever even a third time. Thanks!
