The New Classic.
Itās been over 15 years since Iāve been at it with The Chronicles and I thought itād be good to modernize the aesthetic as we head into 2025. It felt like a good time to also re-introduce my body of work to the world, in case people forgot, drifted away, or are new hereā¦
I wanted a new staple ālookā for a shirt that would be available to everyone in a traditional black tee. The previous drop featured a shirt and style weād never done before. It was a fun, spontaneous, risk that turned out to be very well-received. It was surprising to see. I was worried nobody would be into such a colorful motif, considering Iāve had a very monotone ālookā over the yearsā¦
This is the newest addition to the line-up featuring a high-quality, middleweight t-shirt, in a traditional fit. Certains areas of the artwork feature puff print just to emphasize the important details. Itās a simple tee for all occasions, especially when you and your friends accidentally wear the same thing and unintentionally match, lolā¦

Iāve been envisioning this shirt since January but it took eight months to finally happen. A big part of it was me traveling a lot, another huge factor was me constantly changing the design with new touches, and the manufacturing side of it perfecting this new DTF process. The rest of the time was spent trying to find the right shirt. I wanted to switch to a much more boxier, heavyweight t-shirt with a drop shoulder look. Itās the vibe now so even though the design is very much retro in idea, itās executed on a modern shirt style. I didnāt anticipate how much prices would rise trying to find all the right materials and assets to execute this how I imagined, but the final result is exactly what I wanted. Like almost too exact. What was also unexpected was just how good the print would be. The detail of the artwork is pretty insaneā¦
Like I look at it and I can spot every single little thing I did to each Civic even after I specifically degraded it to make it look 16-bit. I was worried it would have a blur to it or something but it looks properly pixelated, if that makes sense. Some of the most notable Civics from the Kansai region all together for the first-timeā¦
I put a ton of effort into every piece of apparel I create, but man, this one is IT. I have this idea that I want to keep things very monotone because it fits the image that Iāve curated for The Chronicles, so making something so vibrant was risky for me. Thankfully it worked out lol š

The RCraft SPL grand opening event was quite the looker with this all-white display greeting everyone as they entered. Itās always nice to see car shops open-up when everything is super clean and the eventual clutter hasnāt found its way in yet. Congrats to Jose Mejia on the new work space and good luck to him in his future endeavorsā¦
The day was extremely warm though it started early going to both this event and the Brews Cruise meet in Long Beach.

It started with just two display cases and then somehow I ended up having to get two moreāand Iām not gonna lie, Iām probably going to need one more small one before itās all said and done. However, Iām happy to say that Iām pretty much finished collecting because Ebbro went out of business and thereās nothing left for me to collect lol. There could be one or two rare ones but thatās itās, I swear!ā¦
While I was collecting, as you all know by now, Iāve amassed quite an inventory to sell so that you collectors who enjoy this stuff can join me in this terribly fun habit. I try to collect the rarest and hard to get stuff to save you guys the trouble of having to look yourselves. Iāve updated the store with the biggest update yet and Iām probably gonna slow down from getting anymore inventory for the foreseeable future since Iām not that deep into searching for stuff for now. I gotta slow down regardless because this is super fun but takes sooooo much time that it kinda kills my creative flow š
So the store is updated with stuff from Ebbro, Ignition Model, Spark, and one pretty unique Endless Transport Truck from Mtech which you can actually fit a race car inside of. Shit is so rad. I have one for myself and my friends always ask me about it so I grabbed another in case anyone wants to start their own Endless collectionā¦

For the bigger 1/18 Ignition Model stuff, I know it can be kinda pricey but itās well worth it and hard to get here in the States. A lot of people ask about the display cases too. Theyāre from Amazon but the larger units tend to come damaged so itās kind of a pain but the small ones are good most of the time. Just FYI!ā¦

Got a couple more photos of @gatagataogata_ that I didnāt realize I had until I uploaded the vlog yesterday. Probably way more stuff I havenāt shown you guys yet but now that my Japan hangover is finally over, Iām back in creator mode lol. Been a productive last few days just making new stuff and going through everything I collected from my trip. This Buddy Club EK9 was one of the more memorable ones being that Iād long wanted to see this car in-person, even back when it had the Playboy livery which was also fantastic. Absolutely love seeing legit Buddy Club aero because there was a time growing up when I saw the replica versions of this kit in every car you can think of. This kit took the world by storm in the early 2000s. I saw them in Nissan 200SXs, Ford Probes, Accords, etc. One time I went to an Extreme Autofest and like 1/3 of the cars there wore fake Buddy Club aero. Iāve probably only seen less than a handful of real kits in my whole life. So this is special. Not too long ago, I found a rear lip on Yahoo Auctions and asked Yasu to buy it right away. I donāt even know why, lol. Itās so rare we might as well have it than not, right?ā¦
Anyways I donāt wanna go too far off on a tangent. If you want to see more of it and haven't watched the vlog, it's in there. This Civic Type R is sick, even with the added moonroof. Itās got so much style and presenceāyou really canāt help but stareā¦
One more thing to add, I had a lot of messages about the episode cover photo I posted of this Type R from the new episode, asking for it to be turned into a poster print, so I did. If youād like one, please get one from the storefront!ā¦
