Las Los is the new collaboration between Paul Schalda (Paul and the Tall Trees, The Sha La Das) and Max Shrager (The Shacks).

The two first met as members of the late soul icon Charles Bradley’s touring band in 2015.

Shrager, who was 19 years old at the time, had already established himself as an up and coming figure in the NYC music scene, having penned the lead single, “Sinner,” on Naomi Shelton and the Gospel Queens’ 2014 “Cold World” LP.

He continued to build his resume as a founding member of The Shacks, producing their records in collaboration with Leon Michels.

Schalda- an NYC native who moved to Dallas, TX in 2017- records and performs his solo work as Paul and The Tall Trees.

He is also a core member of the Sha La Das. With the Sha La Das, Paul has arranged and performed spectacular, soaring backing vocal arrangements on the records of artists including Charles Bradley, Lee Fields, and Lady Wray.
