I'm an economist who is interested in blockchain technology but does NOT believe it can solve *all* of our problems.
The name of the game is figuring out WHICH problems can/should be fixed by it. Bitcoin represented the natural first step: decentralized money. From representing a decentralized store of value to facilitating decentralized peer to peer transactions, it most definitely succeeded.
But why not take things one step further and try the decentralization of financial services on for size?
Why not offer a decentralized alternative to traditional banking? Or brokerage/exchange services? Asset ownership, perhaps?
In my view, this most definitely represents a problem blockchain technology can at least help with. As such, I've launched One Minute DeFi as an experiment. To shed light on all things decentralized finance-related. To make even ultra-complex terms easy to understand. To provide clarify in a still-immature Wild West space. Wish me luck!
