Hey there! Sorry for disappearing for the past weeks. I received some pretty rough news a while ago that made that December a lot busier than I thought...With the holidays coming up as well I've kind of just been overwhelmed and the channel kind of just fell behind. I can't really guarantee when I'll be able to post again, but I miiight just take a little break until the start of next year.
However, let's take this post as an opportunity to reflect on this year and think about where we might go next year! To be perfectly honest, this year was pretty rough for me overall – and I think that has definitely influenced my content. No full-length videos, and questionable quality for my shorts every now and then, at least from my perspective, and noticeable irregularities in my upload schedule. I haven't exactly been too happy where the channel has been these past months – I mean, we've still been growing a lot faster than I expected to and your support is still amazing as always! – what I mean is that it sucks that I'm struggling so much with getting any full-length videos done and those are usually the ones that are the most fulfilling for me. I've been thinking about how I might stop that from happening in the coming year – perhaps a break will be enough, perhaps it won't – but I just wanted to ask you guys: Do you prefer my shorts or my full-length content? Would you be willing to give up some shorts to see more full-length content or should the full-length videos always be an addition to the regular two shorts per week?
Anyway, if you read this far, thank you so much, have some happy holidays, and I'll see you next year for some more hopefully banger content!

I just sat down with the intend to edit some videos and realized I didn't bring my audio files with me (not at home rn) sooooo...I think Saturday's short (which will be the Lae'zel short you guys requested) will be postponed to Monday, after that everything should be normal again

I know I'm behind on shorts yet again, but I think the earliest I can manage to catch up is Tuesday next week. No guarantees, but I'll try my best.

I know shorts have been really inconsistent over the past weeks, but I've just been very busy. A lot of things are happening right now (good and bad!) and I'm still trying to figure out how exactly I'm going to deal with all of them, but I'm decently sure things will be back to the old upload schedule relatively soon, or at least I hope so. We'll probably talk about Millium this Saturday, and Naafiri next Tuesday. I hope to keep the streak going from there.

There's a good chance you might be getting two shorts today, one for Nocturne, as should be expected, and the one that should've come out on Saturday, that I missed because...I was trying to get a tadpole out of my head?
Needless to say, my days have been filled with a looot of Baldur's Gate, so I'm wondering...would you be interested to see a few shorts on the companions there once I've finished the game?

Ehhh, I'm really conflicted if I should even make this post, but I just wanna be transparent. In case you see fewer videos on Trails or see Trails videos with comments turned off: I just received an answer to a comment below the Gaius video explicitly asking for no Reverie spoilers in the comments...very intentionally spoiling some of the major plot twists of the game. Like, it wasn't even a discussion point or anything, they just dropped them there to spite people.
I'm really not looking forward to repeating this, so I might decide to not make any more Trails videos until I have gotten around to playing Reverie (which might take a pretty long time, to be honest) and decide to turn off comments on those already scheduled.
It's not set in stone yet, maybe I'll try to keep my faith in YouTube commenters until something like this happens again, but in case it happens, I just wanted to let you guys know in advance.
