I love a good blazer. This vintage Oscar De La Renta is one of my favorites. I’ve had it for a very long time and it quickly dresses up a black turtleneck and pants. I’m wearing it with shoes made out of vintage Turkish rugs from Artemis Design Co. and a gold leather purse from Casupo. I have pants that match the jacket but I’ve got to shed a few pounds to get into them comfortably. View video on Casupo here: https://youtu.be/OOilbcH2g6w

I love this unique vintage black, oversized, tuxedo blazer from Big Ash NYC so much. The embellished detailing on the front and back make this so cool and fun to wear. I’m wearing the most comfy pink t-shirt from Judi Rosen under it to pick up the rose colored accents. The knit black skirt is vintage from The Girl Can’t Help It and it’s an absolute staple in my wardrobe. The handmade booties with boot straps are from Lauren Brinkers. I like unusual pairings so I was excited to wear my Hawaiian camp shirt from sustainable brand Yiume with my vintage Yves Saint Laurent gold jacket from Big Ash NYC. I’m wearing the Wandering Through the Clouds Print Cotton Button-up Short Sleeve Women's Hawaiian Shirt. The print is so fun and the shirts are really well made and feel great on. I like how the unexpected pairing turned out. I’m wearing jeans from Judi Rosen and Bryr Clogs to complete the look. Use my code RAJKA for 10% off at Yiume. This robe from Luna Wild made out of upcycled saris is so much fun to wear. It’s reversible too. The colors are bold and cheery and the silky fabric feels so lush. I’m wearing it with Judi Rosen jeans and turtleneck, Donald J. Pliner booties I bought resale at Hunt and Gather and a reversible hat I thrifted years ago that reminds me of The Mary Tyler Moore Show! View video on Luna Wild here: https://youtu.be/2hnr6ER9gd8

On New Year’s Eve, the pixie mullet Jayne Matthews gave me was four and a half months old. I like how it’s been growing out but the bangs and sides were getting long and the crown was starting to get heavy. I had some time before going out that night so I decided to trim it up a bit. In my most recent You Tube video I show you what I did. View video here: https://youtu.be/dDCTP9DGN8s

I finally got to visit Big Ash NYC in person and it did not disappoint. This vintage shop is curated to perfection by owner and stylist Ash Williams. I found the perfect embellished black blazer I’ve been wanting and Tiana scored the coat that came in quite handy for our trip. We’re both wearing our Judi Rosen jeans - of course. Leopard print is trending but for me it’s always a staple in my wardrobe. I bought this vintage Paule Ka coat at the Palm Springs Vintage Market several years ago from a Parisian woman so I always feel a bit French when I wear it. She told me it belonged to a famous French actress. Maybe? My vintage Chanel pants and beret keep the Paris vibe going. The booties are handmade by Lauren Brinkers. I got to go back to The Lafayette, one of my favorite places in San Diego. It’s an adult playground. This time I got to check out Lou Lou’s Jungle Room, a supper club and live music venue. It reminds me of places I’ve seen in old movies. I’ve often wondered why places like that no longer existed and I’m so glad this venue is so close to where I live. The cocktails throughout this property are fantastic and the decor is spot on. Good food, drinks, music and great company! I wore a vintage kimono I thrifted over Judi Rosen jeans and turtleneck, Bryr clogs and Luna Wild earrings completed the look. View video on Luna Wild earring here: https://youtu.be/iMwieyH22wQ

Whew. This has been a year. If I had to choose one word to describe it I would call it humbling. It’s time for my annual year in review and a look back at the sustainable outfits I put together and got to wear this year. View my most recent video here: https://youtu.be/YOKlORIfaVY

As my holiday break comes to an end I’m so grateful for the time I spent with family and loved ones. I earned quite a few gray hairs this past year but I feel recharged and ready to make this new year a great one. How cool is the Missoni top my kids gifted me for Christmas? They got it at a sample sale in NYC. Doug’s Yiume sweater and the kids’ Judi Rosen jeans are so fun too. View video on Judi Rosen here: https://youtu.be/g2X_42xJ_SI
