Hilariously embarrassing update on the zero to $150k public challenge:
Yesterday I had a reasonable red day on stream, but didn't trade according to any of my usual trade setups.
I knew going into it that we weren't trading any where near my levels of interest, but still went in and tried to trade some random willy-nilly volume levels (that I don't normally trade with) on stream anyway.
It should have been a no trade session, given we weren't trading anywhere near my usual levels.
But I traded anyway.
Then it gets worse..........
(This next part is extremely embarrassing for me to say, but this is a 100% transparent public mini-series so it all must be included.)
I saw what I thought was another potential trade immediately after the stream, went in with larger size to try and regain the lost ground and turned a manageable but stupid -$1300 day into a -$3000 day.
Smh.
This is one of my greater flaws as an individual and a trader, when trading prop accounts - I tend to treat the "capital" with much less respect, and as a result, take stupid risks and win stupid prizes.
Combine/evaluation capital and funded capital should be treated with the same respect as personal capital.
It's a sucky way to start since I was trading extremely well and disciplined to for the first few sessions.
"Trade for tomorrow, not for a lucky flip."
(I need to repeat this to myself)
Long story short, in my act of irresponsibility I have RESET the public challenge account to start fresh.
All future trades for this mini-series MUST be recorded or taken on stream, with each trade following my rules of entry and risk management.
I'll hold myself publicly accountable by sharing all the Topstep dashboard stats every week on this account with the weekly update episode. Call me out on this if you see any inconsistencies.
I want this series to be a REAL demonstration of REAL thoughtful trading, not tilting and flipping accounts. No influencer BS.
Purposeful, sensible, and tactical trading.

Couldn’t sleep last night so traded the AM session and hit my profit targets, staying disciplined and locked myself out of the accounts to end the week green!

I’ve been working on a strategy specifically for trading Gold using order flow and Bookmap.
I’m going to be busy for the next couple of weeks out of town so streams will be a bit scattered until then.
But in July, Tokyo & Power Hour streams on the daily are a go!
Didn’t follow any of my rules today and torched a few of my Topstep accounts 😭
- Started strong, got greedy for more
- Went into a bit of drawdown from poor trades
- Removed my daily lockout limit
- Started tilting and taking random trades with no reason behind them.
- Hit max DLL on 3/5 accounts
All of this could have been avoided by committing to my personal daily profit targets (not pushing for more), and then my daily lockout rules.
Tilting like this is my main trading demon that visits me every few months…. Gotta work on this one.
Back to square one. Won’t take me long but it could have been avoided.
Going to take tomorrow off and start fresh next week.

It's all so ambiguous on the internet, super hard to find any structured information on how to trade "order flow style".
My goal is to seek out the best order flow information and condense it into succinct, simple, and structured information to make it easier to learn.
