Today is the 15th anniversary of our album “Alter The Ending”. This record was recorded in two separate sessions. The first session was recorded in New York City with producer Adam Schlesinger. The second session was recorded in Florida and Los Angeles with producer Butch Walker.
My memories of this record are rooted in the places I wrote these songs which was a literal world wide endeavor. For me this record is a map of that world. It’s a snapshot of life amidst the chaos, of a man trying to make sense of things. Notes home from my years in the wilderness.
I have a lot to share about this record. Specifically about the writing and recording of it. This will be the focus of this months Saints And Sailors meet up later this week. Please join up if you haven’t already.
