Gonna give non aero brake levers another shot, and these bars, brake levers, and quill stem are coming from a 99% STOCK COMPLETE vintage road bike š

Bit busy with the holidays, family, and home renovation stuff, but still squeezing in quick rides!
Definitely having a blast on the Diamondback Override and riding a triple crankset for the first time!
Iāll have to report on the biopace crankset/chainrings as Iām forming my opinion using them long term so canāt wait for that!
Also, still tweaking things here and there while riding, typical routine when bringing a bike that isnāt really rideable at first, back to riding ready PLUS ready to be ridden aggressively!

Check out what I snagged!
An early 90s Diamondback Override!
So this post may be WAY premature because when you get a vintage bike you have to go through pretty much the entire bike if you want to make sure everything is workin, or if you have to service anything, or last resort replace something.
I THINK I may want to keep this all original and maybe do a 30 day challenge riding a vintage stock bike? Or make it a cyclocross bike, who knows!
It will be some time before I do get to filming this bike but I love documenting these old bikes at least, as so many just almost disappear with no trace!
I will add a few extra pictures on my Instagram as the limit on YouTube is 5.

Howdy!
I wanted to throw a poll up here to find out which bike is the most popular! Also which one is the least šÆ
Also, let me know in the comments if you all want to see more of a certain bike or if the mix I have already is good enough!
Thanks again for all of your support I truly appreciate it!

Have to give a shout out to āā @stibra101 as he warned me about the Michelin Dynamic Sport tires on one of my YouTube shorts.
A few days after receiving the comment, literally experienced what he described on my bike rollers (thankfully not in traffic) and the tire just had a blowout out of no where!
Silver lining though is my replacement is 700x32c so I can fit 32c on this vintage road bike at least in the rear!
Also, next video will be a project with my road bike so stay tuned!

So gonna be potentially MIA for a few days as hurricane Milton is going to be a DIRECT hit for me.
Hereās a few extra photos but hopefully everyone in Florida stays safe and the power isnāt out for too long as Iām working on another video for you all.
Thanks for your support and Iāll check back in when the storm passes and Iām able to post an update!

Iāve been recovering from my pulled neck that always happens every year so thereās a delay with making videos.
However, once Iām recovered gonna get back into the swing of things which also means the Performance Vitesse is returning once again!
Stay tuned and thank you so much for subscribing and supporting me I truly appreciate it greatly!

Hey yāall!
Thank you so much for all of the support with my last video! I truly appreciate it!
Been riding these Redshift Top Shelf bars with new additions, a Shimano Acera rear derailleur and also a set of Shimano Tourney brifters with great success!
Iāll definitely be covering this setup when I make a follow up as I have easily moved on from using the bar end friction shifter as I didnāt feel it fits my riding style anymore.
These shifters have been SO pleasant to use even with the unique thumb shifter aspect as opposed to the traditional paddle/brake lever shifting.
Also, after watching that berm peak video about a clutch isnāt really a necessity, I switched to the Shimano Acera rear derailleur (but still having a narrow wide chainring) and even with my rough routes Iām taking, I havenāt had any chain slap nor dropped the chain!
Your results may vary but canāt wait to chat about it with you soon! Thanks again for watching and subscribing!

Hey yall!
Thank you for helping me reach 1,800 subscribers I truly appreciate it!
Hereās some photos of my Specialized Crossroads Cruz updated a bit more to make it even better of a gravel bike conversion!
Putting on the Panaracer Gravelking SK tires are night and day! I canāt believe I rode those old ones for so long, I didnāt realize how bad they were lol.
Also the shifting going back to the Sram Rival 1x rear derailleur has improved significantly. The Suntour XCE rear derailleur was overly stiff and not sure whyā¦
Oh well, more to come!
