Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac has just been announced, and I will be getting it on day one. I've always been of the opinion that PMW2 was damn near perfect and doesn't need a remake, but it looks like they're being true to the original with this release so I'm happy with that.

I've moved to a new Linux PC since my Pac-Man World Re-Pac videos, but if I can get recording working I will definitely get some videos out when PMW2 Re-Pac drops.

I haven't played the Croc: Legend of the Gobbos remake yet. Life has gotten in the way, and I will eventually get around to it. But first, I won't be missing PMW2 Re-Pac because that's my favorite 3D platformer of all time. Yes, even over the 3D Mario games.

Come on Hasbro, give me that Frogger: He's Back remake. That's all that's left on my remake wishlist.

In an effort to mass-censor their platform and allow corporations, scammers, and liars to more easily post garbage and deceive their viewers, YouTube has sadly made the incredibly boneheaded decision to hide dislikes entirely. As of right now there is no way to share dislikes on videos to the public. There is an option tucked away in each video's settings, but in classic Google fashion it doesn't actually do anything. Otherwise I would've already re-enabled the like/dislike bar for all my videos.

With no immediate way to discern good videos from trash, this will have an immense negative impact on the quality of YouTube as a whole, and personally I hope a serious competitor to this platform rises as a result.

A possible bit of future content for anyone who cares: a comprehensive look into the extra e-reader content for Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3, including Japan-exclusive powerups and demos that aren't present in the Wii U virtual console version. I will soon have the final piece I would need, game-wise, to make a video. There are plenty of videos on the stuff we received in North America, and on the Wii U virtual console version of SMA4, but nothing comprehensive I could find on the Japan-exclusive cards.

However, I would also need everything on the technical side to make such a video possible: a good camera/microphone, a Gamecube capture card, more in-depth knowledge of video editing, and ability to remain anonymous (so voice masking and the like).

It would be an ambitious project that would take a lot of work, but if I can pull it off, it would be great to be able to present all the information I've learned on this.
