Simply Ball Droppin began in the early 90’s between a group of friends living in Frederick, Maryland with a passion for sports and sports talk. As life took them along different paths including collegiate athletics, career goals and the military, they remained connected and enjoyed the times when they could get together for sports and sports talk . Their sports talk and conversations began with three way calls and transformed into group chats with the advent of cell phone technology. This group formed a blog amongst themselves to keep in touch and express their opinions on various topics with an emphasis on sports.
