We have a BIG update dropping soon, but hereās the short version: We moved continents, shipped our van to the U.S., and cruised down to Baja for the winter! If that made you go, āWaitā¦ what?!āāsame. But weāre absolutely loving every second of vanlife adventuring & riding 'Havoc' all across this incredible peninsula!
š Today/this weekend we'll be at the Escapar Vanlife Gathering (!!!!!!!!!!!!), where weāll be surrounded by amazing friendsālongtime ones, new ones, and some who will *finally* be more than just usernames in my DMs! LIFE UPDATE:
Hi all! Weāve missed you as we've stepped back from posting our weekly videos! These past few months have been thoroughly dedicated to REST & RECHARGE, cuz boy did we need it š
We had a FANTASTIC summer traveling throughout Europe in our van. Honestly, Iām still a bit shocked nothing went wrong! š
This week weāre planning to turn the camera on again! Hopefully weāre not too rusty... Let us know in the comments what youāre looking forward to this autumn, or what sort of videos youād like to see from us after we publish our Van Tour & our Van Build Systems Tour. No video this week, but finally getting back to #VANLIFE!! Still working out some kinks and finalizing a few aspects of the build. Weāll be sticking to shorter trips as we go back and forth from the workshop. This week Ladiās uncle (visiting us from Canada!) joined us to explore his old climbing grounds in Arushbak (a gorgeous park in northern CZ). Watching other people climb stuff is very peaceful for me (jk look at that pic, you shoulda seen me watch that movie Free Solo.... just can't...)

CHANNEL UPDATE: Weāll be taking a break from regular uploads for the next few weeks! Throughout filming the previous 3 videos we noticed our physical work progress slowed down a lot because we put a lot of time & effort into filming/editing. With camping season just around the corner, we donāt want to risk any more delays, so weāre doubling down on the project work so we can pack up before the spring is in full swing! āļø
We expect the next videos will include our finished VAN BATHROOM BUILD (then the van is done!!!), a full CABIN TOUR, & the complete CONTAINER HOME TOUR!
Until then, weāre making sure to enjoy our last weeks here in CZ with friends & family. See you soon!

NEW VIDEO IS OUT & WE NEED YOUR HELP! Only two big projects remain in our van: the reclining couch & our bathroom! This morning we're working on the couch, and we're trying to decide on what color fabric we should go for... What do you think?? All the neutrals are an easy option (white, black, grey, etc) but we're sorta interested in something fun and colorful thats immediately inviting when you open the van.... Its a tough one!!

If you haven't seen our latest video sharing our big news, SPOILER ALERT! For the past 3 years weāve been building our own CABIN IN THE WOODS!!!
This modern tiny home is located in a small village of around 200 people, and is the area in which all 4 of Ladiās grandparents are from! We were given the heads up about this land being for sale back in 2019, as the owner of a large strip of land had been slowly separating it out into 8 plots, built foundations, and then began to sell them off throughout the years. Normally I wouldnāt share the price, but as an American I canāt help but find it outrageously wild.... $23k for the foundation AND land. We couldn't pass on the opportunity, even though we knew it would just be sitting there for a while.

Ladiās parents were equally shocked by the price, and bought the plot directly next to us. Ladiās family helped us so much, with picking up materials, organizing plumbers & electricians so both cabins could be done at once, not to mention all the details you donāt think of that demand a good amount of attention, such as tiling, cleaning, etc.
Weāve spent countless weekends, late nights, and quiet mornings building what we can at the workshop, and then commuting just over an hour north to drop off and install. In the last 5 months or so we've been sleeping there about 3 nights/week, the other 4 in the van at the workshop. Weāve taken loads of videos and pics, but because the progress what so sporadic, we decided to keep it to ourselves until we saw the finish line.
Our plan is to wrap up this cabin in the next 4 weeks or so, and then once the container home and van are done, we can get back to traveling. We've had countless conversations about finishing the van first and then coming back every now and then to work on the cabin, container, etc, but unfortunately that option isn't very practical. Organizing materials, labor, problem solving, etc is just too hard to prep for while traveling. And sadly neither of us are not superfans of winter #vanlife... less because of the cold, and more because of the 16 hours of darkness š We figured this time would be best spent finishing what we've started.
This tiny town has only recently begun to attract tourist attention, as the lake weāre located on is less than 10 years old (man-made because of a newly constructed dam) Each season weāve witnessed more fisherman, hikers, and nature enthusiasts making their way to Roudno. This year we'll be taking a new approach to videos: instead of focusing exclusively on the project, we want to bring you along with us more personally throughout the week and share with your EVERYTHING we're building, creating, and designing. This week's vlog is one of our favs because we did just that ā¤ļø

This eBike business started alongside our Youtube videos in 2020 (plus the workshop, van, land, secret project, etc. LOL) Weāre beyond thankful for all the support & encouragement weāve received from this community as weāve navigated through this challenging start-up phase. The evolution of our lives these past few years has been insane, and we couldn't have done it without YOU! ā¤ļø
Behind the scenes its taken months of energy to organize a shipping method for these eBikes outside of Europe thatās both cost-efficient & battery-considerate. Thanks to the hard work of Ladi and Pavel, our first pre-built CyberBike is heading across the ocean to its new home in the states! š There are big moves for this small business on the horizon, and we cannot wait to share them with you in the coming months š
