Alright folks. We have nailed down a date to do the livestream of the engine swap. Unedited process of swapping out a 200.
Friday February the 10th we will be going live at 10am all day for as long as it takes. We will be joined by Jonathan Campagna and Dan Frankel. Just a couple of buds hanging out and having a good time, and hopefully youâll see how easy swapping a 6 is. Should be a good time and hopefully educational. See you all there.

So here is a good example of why we use data to select electric fans.
On the right you will see the performance data for my existing Spal fan (I run duals of the same fan) in my Big Block truck. On the left you will see performance data for a Spal fan that is actually 1â smaller in diameter. Now that this new model is available, I am swapping the fans on my truck because they perform roughly 90% better at the same static pressure as my existing fans.
As you can see, at zero static pressure, both models move roughly the same amount of air, but as the static pressure increases, the new fan far out performs my existing fan.
My existing dual fans basically can keep up on a 100F day with the AC on but they are running full speed. These new fans should give me lots of head room. Hurray for math and science.

Some of Jeff Jones handy work in progress on my VI head. First picture is before porting. You can see how poor the original machine work was. Jeff is opening the bowls to fix the valve shrouding, then milling the head to get the chambers back to size. This head will go to flow testing along with Aaron Coxâs Argentinian head and a Jeff large log 2V conversion head.

Well this was an impromptu thing. I snatched it up before even considering what to do with it. The unicorn, VI small six aluminum head. Sorry, the whole picture doesnât fit here. Good things to come in the future.

Replacing the very rare Mustang 6 cylinder power steering tie rod ends and adjusting sleeves. They were quite worn, but not dead. Future video coming.
