HORNER SYNDROME

Also known as Oculo-sympathetic paresis or Bernard-Horner Syndrome.
It is a rare neurological condition, Caused by the Disruption of the Nerve pathway ( mainly sympathetic) from the brain to the face and eye, thus affecting the eye and face of the body. It can be due to Stroke, tumor or spinal cord injury. It resulted in several Symptoms and signs for which a mnemonic of I AM HELP is used to make easy to remember the features.
There is no specific treatment for Horner's Syndrome, but treatment of the underlying cause may restore normal nerve function.
