As concerns the energy-saving-thing - the more we save the less (nuclear=extremely toxic) power plants are needed and CO2 is produced -, here are some ultimate tips:
No use of stand-by, switching lights off when not needed, using more efficient devices, not overheating your rooms and overlighting your cities, no use of trendy monster-cars etc.
